  1. I'm in transit to Fenway. No rain here at the moment
  2. I would like him to be out until June if it means he comes back 100%. Playing through injuries didn't work for him last year
  3. Is there something you want to tell us?
  4. Bad few years coming up for Florida baseball teams
  5. RHP Luis Severino (2-0, 1.38) vs LHP Chris Sale (0-0, 0.82) Sunday's game proved that it is impossible for the Sox to lose. Losing is for dolts, which Jacko's Jackasses certainly are (just ask their manager). Let's keep having all the fun. This train is flying down the tracks at high speeds right now, filled exclusively with good vibes. And, on top of everything else, I'll be at this game. Got $9 SRO tickets with some of my college buddies. When you pair GT mojo with at the game mojo all from the same source, you can't lose. Win. Dance. Repeat. x9
  6. Of the ones, I've seen, which is not many, I like Cars, The Incredibles, Up, Finding Dory, Monsters U, Inside Out, Wreck It Ralph, Gnomeo and Juliet. In fact, I'll change my mind. My new top 5 is: Inside Out Wreck It Ralph Frozen Monsters University Finding Dory The reason I moved those two up is because I forgot that I had cried at the end of them
  7. You don't even need to amputate. Just shoot him up
  8. I just puked a little bit in my mouth
  9. Hey, some of us actually fall within Frozen's target audience. Wait, I'm not a 6-16 year old girl. It's still one of my favorite movies though, and I'm not ashamed to say it
  10. Lol at the thread title. I needed a good laugh.
  11. To me, they definitely are. I personally don't think he is that bad of an offensive player, but even if I look at it from your point of you, I come to the conclusion that world class defense like his is so much more valuable. If there's a stat that measures how many hits/runs per game any one particular outfield, I would love to see where he ranks on that. Think about how many runs he saved last year, and compare that to where the team would be if all those runs had scored. I think we would be hovering right around .500, if not below it.
  12. This represents my thoughts exactly. I like to not look too far into things, as long as we continue winning. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I really like his emphasis on resting players every now and again, especially after how well it worked for the Astros last year. This is certainly not a bad thing, but many people on these boards get way too wrapped up in this stuff. It's only April 9. It's not even spring yet, as far as the temperature is concerned. Let's relax and see how this thing plays out first. In the meantime, as you said, it's not costing us any games right now.

Definitely. I got a glimpse of what it was like to be a player walking up 18 either in the lead or tied for it. I put into words what that walk up 18 felt like, 20,000 people giving a standing O to my guy. I had walked with him the day before as well, and told him after that final round that he had a fan in me for life.

I topped it last year by walking with Daniel Berger in the 2nd to last group on Sunday, witnessing his comeback to tie Spieth, then getting a front row seat inside the ropes for Spieth's now famous hole out from the bunker.

I didn't realize until moments after he won that I have a ball signed by him. I work as a standard bearer at the Travelers Championship, and walked with Reed, Bubba, and Kuchar in 2016, on Reed's 26 birthday, as it so happened.
  16. I totally agree with you, but I respect Cora's determination to work in off days. Yes, they haven't made much sense so far. Mookie sat on Tuesday, right before an off day, and JBJ sat today, before an off day, but I think it will go a long way toward keeping our guys in peak form well into October. Also, JBJ has been in a little of a funk. I think today was strategically planned, given the caliber of the Rays, a team we were more likely to get away with it against.
  17. Perfect day in my book.
  18. What's great is that if the Yankees sweep the Red Sox, it's still not enough to take over 1st place.
  19. On Tuesday, we'll have the rare instance of GT mojo and at the game mojo coming from the same source
  20. What a great game. I can't believe this
  21. How about Thunder mojo?
  22. Big day of sports. Sox, then Masters, then Bruins getting the #1 seed.
  23. Gee, Ted, tell us how you really feel.
  24. There's the dreaded ER long ball
