  1. Game #1: Fluke Game #2: We were going up against Miami's #1. No matter how good or bad the other team is, a #1 is a #1. Game #3: Not an issue Game #4: It was 37 f***ing degrees, and we were playing Baltimore's #1. Shut the f*** up
  2. 14-2 without our two best contact hitters. Win. Dance. Repeat. x6
  3. Mookie Betts have my children
  4. Two weeks until finals, exam on Friday, presentation tomorrow...
  5. Even as a college student now, these games are still too late for me. I wish I could get a close up look at Ohtani though. Win. Dance. Repeat. x5
  6. I'm one of those, but I'm starting to change. I've always been a partial Celtics fan, splitting time with OKC (hence the username). I watched the entire Bruins game last night and looked forward to it all day, and the Patriots have always been a huge part of my life. I watch all of their games with my dad, and was rooting for them in the Super Bowl

  8. I doubt we play either today or tomorrow, but Win. Dance. Repeat. x4 anyway.
  9. Fancy of you to join us!
  10. Nobody has realized that my incredible run is over.
  11. It has been my honor and privilege to make your game threads for the last 13 days. In a world, where at times, it can be so difficult for me to fit in and be comfortable in the social landscape, you guys make me feel like I belong in this world.
  12. I've been checking in and out of this one while studying. No words right now.
  13. If by busts out you mean in his pants, then yeah.
  14. I hope the Sox fans going tonight have as much fun as I did last night
  15. RHP Masahiro Tanaka (1-1, 2.92) vs LHP David Price (1-0, 0.00) Winning never gets old. Beating the Yankees? It's like taking candy from a baby, but not, because it's actually fun. I don't see the end in sight here, so let's just keep taking care of business. The dolts don't stand a chance. Win. Dance. Repeat. x10
  16. No, but some other dude had a sign that said MiKKKKKe Stanton that I laughed at. The best line I heard all night was that Stanton should change his name back to Mike because it has more K's in it.
  17. A couple final thoughts before I move on to making tonight's GT: 1. We took the Worcester/Framingham commuter rail into Fenway, and I highly recommend it. You get right out at that Yawkey station, and it really couldn't be more convenient, especially on a night when Mike Pence was in town, causing massive delays on the Pike. 2. I don't care how old you are, hanging out on Yawkey Way before the gates open, then going inside and getting your first view of the field never gets old. Even with the tarp on Fenway maintains its beauty. 3. One of the friends I brought to the game is a Yankees fan from California (don't blame him since the closest team to him is the A's). He's been to Fenway before, but I gave him a mini tour of sorts, and it was fun to see his face. From our perch behind home plate we walked down into the left field corner to watch Stanton getting a lesson on how to play the wall, then we walked all the way around. I showed him Canvas Alley, then the right field corner, then the bullpen area grandstands, the triangle, and then stood at the wall in straight away center, which I think is one of the most underrated Fenway views. That was fun. 4. There were a couple of Yankee fans near us that were pretending to be the Bleacher Creatures, and they got shut down repeatedly throughout the game. The most amusing part was when Judge came up to bat down 14-1, and they started an MVP chant. 5. There was a time in which I felt bad for my Yankees fan friends when a drunk-off-his-ass Sox fan started verbally abusing them. Luckily, he stopped before I worked up the balls to go interfere. 6. I don't know how people think the Yankees bullpen is supposed to be good. Every time I remember Kahnle pitching at Fenway, he gives up at least 3 runs. Shreve is a slightly less consistent version of Matt Barnes, and boy, do the Yankees play some bad defense right now. 7. There was a very good vibe at the game, despite the temperature. The game was sold out, and about 98% of the seats were filled, and after the 6th inning, it just became one giant dance fest. Let the good times roll. Sweet Caroline was louder than I remember it being in some time, even though many had begun to head home at that point. 8. Thankfully, my friends let me stay until the end. I've been on the other side of those games, so I know how hard it is. I have a couple pictures, if anybody wants to see them. It's just from different vantage points from the walk we took before the game, nothing special.
  18. Yes we were, and it was very enjoyable.
  19. Glad to be at your service.
  20. Hope everything is alright.
  21. Also, JD's looked like a grand slam to the naked eye, and the new song they play when we score a run is lit. So is the new Trader Joe's strike out whistle.
  22. What a game to be at. Place went nuts after Stanton struck out for the second time. Never seen a grand slam in person so that was cool.
  23. Not nearly as cold as I thought. Missed out on BP because of the weather. Would've loved to see Stanton and Judge do bad things to the Monster.
