    I have long since learned to pay no attention to anybody's analysis of how you should run your life.

    For starters, the least you could do is spell Red Sox players' names right. It's Kimbrel, not Kimbrell. It sucks Moreland isn't eligible for fan voting, because if he stays hot this month, he could have easily gotten in. Watch out for E-Rod as well.

    Lol. Funniest thing I've seen on here in some time. It's definitely true though. Everyone needs to relax, like usual. I am a little concerned about Sale right about now, however. Two starts against two really good offenses, but still. He's due to face the White Sox next, so I expect a bounce back.

    Good. I'm having fun too. Whenever we get on a roll, I can't wait for that day's game. Today is one of those days, after missing most of the weekday games over the last few weeks.

    Truly astounding numbers for the kid. I knew he was something special when we drafted him, and I hardly follow our minor league system. Right now, though, it appears as if he's a fair weather hitter. As the weather goes, so does the bat. April was a bitch this year, yet somehow we survived and got through it.

    So, I haven't been around the last few days, so I didn't yet give my initial reaction to the Hanley DFA. I was sitting at work when an alert popped up on my phone. My mind was absolutely blown. But, as soon as I read all the stuff about the contract, it made perfect sense to me. I love Hanley, but this is a business. I'm a business major, so I know how personal feelings must be thrown aside. What I'll miss most are the no doubters he hit, and all of Fenway singing along to his walk up song, which was "Take On Me" by a-ha.

    I agree. I don't think Dombrowski would have kept him around this long if he didn't have high value defensively.

    Let's go people. Game 7. No Love. Finish the deal. But, Celtics are going to have to win at least 1 road game to win the championship.

    Nonetheless, a very interesting story. Everywhere I go I always seem to run into somebody I know or have some sort of mutual connection with.

    So would I. If he gets hot, I would like to see him get moved to his usual #2 hole, with Hanley/Mitch and JD behind him, then Beni and Xander after that. I don't want to see Benintendi get moved, though, especially now that he's coming around. Maybe Pedroia should just stay in the #6 hole. One of the many problems of having a lineup that is actually good.

    There's a guy in my town who played in the Orioles' farm system for years but never broke into the big leagues, at least I don't think so. Maybe at the end of his career. He won an AAA title with the Rochester Red Wings in 1997. I played HS ball with his older son, while his youngest is a freshman on the varsity team this year. I also went to an overnight camp that he ran.

    I turned 3 that month, and just finished my first year of college. Turning 20 this October, somehow. Feel old yet? Lol But, Stanford. Wow, congrats!
