    Mortensen was solid up until his last outing, where he ruined everything. if Bard can't pitch a couple of shutout innings against Astros, then there's no place for him in the majors.

    Daniel Bard called up. o_O Bard started out shakily in Portland, allowing four runs on three hits and a walk over his first three appearances. But he has not allowed a run in his past five outings, spanning six innings, walking three and striking out three.
