  1. The combination of ERA (60%), WHIP(30%) and W-L(10%) vs Rs support/game, should rule the award. Beckett has an outstanding season and he is definitely a contender, nobody saw this coming.
  2. SOS!!!!! bring the King or Ubaldo or Kuroda... SP is the key now!
  3. Put it in this way and I hate to do it but, we face the damn Yankees 18 times, which is by far a better offense than the Phillies, and guess what? our rotation has been pretty good against them. The Phillies? they face the Braves, the Mets and another "solid offense NL teams" but nothing compared to a AL East offense.
  4. Besides, if Buch, Beckett and Lester perform as they are supposed to, there won't be that huge difference in pitching, and the offense could be the driver to win the WS. My concern again is their healthy, if that is covered we have great chances to win with the actual lineup.
  5. Besides, I believe that the Phillies will struggle a lot against the Braves who have a solid rotation as well, and SF.
  6. We certainly can... even with the actual roster.
  7. yup, that's another way to play the ballgame from the FO.
  8. There is not 100% certain in both win the WS (even bringing a OF, of course) or future prospect's performance, but considering all the factors and the actual roster, I already see a solid team that have great chances to win the WS; so... I wouldn't give up a prospect for a short term this season and far less for a Top one, no way!.
  9. + 1 or Pence, Jimenez, Reyes etc. Hehe
  10. Hehehe Splits, splits. I hope that once and for all Lackey had put his s*** together and perform as a 80 MiUSD pitcher.
  11. Before the game, Tito said in the press conference that he talked with JD about this and told him that he had to go with the players that could bring more chances to win games for the team, just like he did when Lowrie was on fire, and seems like JD took it in the good way. At least Tito opened his eyes. Now I hope that the Kid keeps rolling. He will.
  12. Yup... I thought that a SP could be a realistic move since the numbers and injuries in our rotation; but even there, I don't see it coming neither.
  13. Who is still thinking that a big fish could land to Boston? I don't see it anymore.
  14. It was like strange don't post during the game hehe, anyway... Oh God!!!!... Is Lackey back?... 2 more starts and we'll see...agree? Let's Go Red Sox!
  15. if he keeps us under 4 ER, everything will be alright even with Felix on the mound. I'm very confident about our lineup today.
  16. yup! regardless i just get used to struggle during my access into the different threads; that issue hasn't solved.
  17. with that lineup till the WS!
  18. Reading all these news from everywhere last weeks, stinks like any big fish is coming before the trade deadline to Boston; and you know what, I wouldn't care as long as our top 3 SPs keep healthy and perform as they supposed to on October.
  19. The translation of the most important. Sources have said to ESPNNY that the Mets want prospects and they would even pay those 6MUSD. According with Gordon Edes of ESPNBoston.com, The RedSox wouldn't accept Mets' pretensions for Carlos (Top Prospects). Beltran just said after the game vs STL that neither Scott nor the Club have told him anything about his trade, and all these cheap talking about his trade are just rumors; he doesn't think about it.
  20. Your guide to the trade deadline
  21. SP! SP! SP! SP!
