  1. That scenario sounds like a scary movie. I hope that our FO is working on this; gonna cost? Gonna be hard? Gonna cost a lot of money and top prospects? OF COURSE, ALWAYS, if you want to bring a solid SP for a long shot; and guess what? The scenario demands it.
  2. If the name is Jeff Francoeur, I'd prefer stay as we are.
  3. WIN at least! We are still earning a lot of Rs. We are wining and scoring a lot of Rs as well, but our rotation is not making the Job and that should be a red flag to the FO. BTW when will Buch be ready?
  4. A whole party at NESN's cabin huh!
  5. Bases loaded in NY hehehehehe
  6. NY is struggling in the 9th
  7. Reddick and Salty again rolling!
  8. Few days ago he was at some point something like 2-22; and even with that slump he is still batting .347; simply ridiculous.
  9. Damn! this team has become into a mythic beast!.... Reddick and Salty are the dynamic duo.
  10. Oh Wakefield!... seems like this gonna be a long afternoon.
  11. with a really cold beer and seafood snack ready for another W!
  12. The combination of ERA (60%), WHIP(30%) and W-L(10%) vs Rs support/game, should rule the award. Beckett has an outstanding season and he is definitely a contender, nobody saw this coming.
  13. SOS!!!!! bring the King or Ubaldo or Kuroda... SP is the key now!
  14. Put it in this way and I hate to do it but, we face the damn Yankees 18 times, which is by far a better offense than the Phillies, and guess what? our rotation has been pretty good against them. The Phillies? they face the Braves, the Mets and another "solid offense NL teams" but nothing compared to a AL East offense.
  15. Besides, if Buch, Beckett and Lester perform as they are supposed to, there won't be that huge difference in pitching, and the offense could be the driver to win the WS. My concern again is their healthy, if that is covered we have great chances to win with the actual lineup.
  16. Besides, I believe that the Phillies will struggle a lot against the Braves who have a solid rotation as well, and SF.
  17. We certainly can... even with the actual roster.
  18. yup, that's another way to play the ballgame from the FO.
  19. There is not 100% certain in both win the WS (even bringing a OF, of course) or future prospect's performance, but considering all the factors and the actual roster, I already see a solid team that have great chances to win the WS; so... I wouldn't give up a prospect for a short term this season and far less for a Top one, no way!.
