  1. Agree. I have no idea how this Oswalt/Jackson/Floyd drama is going to end up but if they trade for Floyd and pay him something around Kuorda's/Oswalt's 2012 money anyway, why in the hell give up top prospects for him?, regardless in our farm, there's no abundance of them (top prospects) these days and this guy Floyd is not a super star. Of course, all this is speculation.
  2. I wanted A-God. If he shits the bed in the coming years (very unlikely IMO) I'll be the first in pointing it out. You bet. If A-God fails, this must be charged to A-God and the FO, nobody else.
  3. Yup, we are clogged. This is not about fans. Think the other way is just insane. They take the blame/credit and costs/money. We only can make opinions, that's all. This is 2009-2011FO/Theo's legacy plus FO/BC's Ortiz horrible move (thus far). Ain't over, but as I've been saying if we end up over the cap and without SS and SP, this will be horrible.
  4. In the last two polls I voted that we were going to acquire a pitcher before ST. This time I voted neither of them. If they sign someone, the name will be Floyd and with a lot less possibilities Garza, but I guess that it would take at least a week, unless BC has been cooking this trade. We'll see.
  5. I found out this picture of Blue Damon shaking hands with an american wrestler. Hell, this wrestler is like He-Man http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/4194/bluedemonjohncenasg2.jpg
  6. Well, I'm not sure If it is the same in the US, probably is like the same. As I said, when I was a kid I loved to go to Las Arenas. These days I have no idea if they have changed the concept, but I believe that it has had improvements. Btw, SCM33 have fun... It should be a great experience.
  7. Here, some of the most popular mexican wrestlers. http://s1.vivirmexico.com/files/2007/12/todo-x-el-todo.jpg
  8. BTW when I was a kid I sworn that I was going to be a luchador, I even had a mask disigned by myself.
  9. I do not discard Wake if a SP doesn't land, but Yes, it is very unlikely IMO, and would be a terrible mistake.
  10. IMO wresting is more acting than real fighting. It's like a comedy or something. When I was a kid, I used to watch wrestling very often LOL. I remember Hulk Hogan, Andrew el Gigante, Savage, El Santo, Blue Demon, etc. I used to play that Nintendo (I) wrestling video game a lot LOL. I haven't watched a wrestling match in 20 years or something. I'm not sure whether it has changed or not since then.
  11. Hopefully one of those depth arms of us, turn into a Colon/Garcia sweet surprise. Padilla/Doubront could give us a surprise, but I just do not see arguments in the others.
  12. Trying to use my common sense... I wouldn't waste my time with this diligence if I already knew that this offer wasn't going anywhere. I mean, did he really want to probe something to fans/FO with this joke? Sorry but we are not that stupid.
  13. Yup, Oswalt can listen every offer. On the other hand and as I said I'm not sure what was Ben expecting from this joke offer, if true of course.
  14. Now that Oswalt is completely discarded and Jackson as a complete mystery and unlikely to land, I'm starting to believe that Scu's money will be used to sign Ortiz (which would piss me off), otherwise I wouldn't understand this "strategic-move" (Scu).
  15. If this 5 M + thing was true I really wouldn't have clue what Ben was expecting from this offer regardless STL had already offered 5 M by the time.
  16. Do not discard that possibility Jung.
  17. Great post Jung. I agree in almost all the passages of your post. Well, at this point if the name is not Floyd I really have no idea what BC is planning.
  18. Our problem has been/could be our rotation. Thus far, we haven't addressed this issue. Last year, 3-5 didn't exist. Today 4-5 are huge question marks. Our BP is a mystery without our ace closer and with our setup up man likely moving up to the rotatation. We do not have an everyday SS. CC and Kalish are between cottons. How confident will they comeback after their surgeries? Mystery to me. They say that Youk and Buchy are 100% healthy, I want to belive that. Ross could be a great platoon/depth if Kalish come around in good shape. They say that Buchy-Bard-Aceves will be better than Lackey-Wakefield-Miller, I tend to agree, but still 4-5 are question marks/promises/huge risks (if you start with both) and how many innings will they give you combined? Those are our realities. Those question marks could play in our favor or against us. Yes, It's all about perspective. If we bring another SP, we will likely close the gap in both rotation/BP and we will likely impact our final W-L record, for how much? I do not know but probably good enough to make the POs.
  19. We are a move away Jacko...
