  1. The only thing you had to do was lock out Papelbon. Plain and Simple. Anyways, it is in the past.
  2. This experiment better work it out. If he shits the bed, will you keep experiment with unproven closers like Koji and Miller? Or would you go and explore other options in the market?
  3. Let me see, since 2011, what you got? Jenks Aceves Melancon Bailey Hanrahan Plus other inside experiments. A lot attempts -- regardless the money, prospects and mostly Ls they taxed us --, and Zero results in a year and half. Zero. ... And now they about to try with another unproven closer. Is this a magical spot? Naaaahhh but very few can succeed in that role and mostly in environments like Boston. You had the cream of the cream and let him walk. Just like that. Nothing new here, Good things in life cost. You had a gem and wanted to pay like if it was a fake pearl. Some people will never understand this. Anyways, hopefully this new experiment works out.
  4. Well, I used to root for the Super Sonics when the velocy raptor Shawn Kemp played there and faced Jordan in the finals in a very exciting series. I grew up watching Jordan, Bird, Magic, Barkley, Thomas, Olahuwon, Pippen, Stockton, Malone, Robinson, etc. Honestly since then I lost interest in basketball because the league is not the same IMO. I watched a couple of games of this series and at least was entertaining mostly the 6th game. These days I root the Boston Celtics but I do not follow them that much.
  5. Was a nice series.
  6. Not sure whether Valverde is still closing in Detroit or not. He has sucked too this year.
  7. Fortunately, some like me dropped his ass so many weeks ago
  8. An ESPN alert in my cell phone popped up saying that Farrell removed Bailey from the closer role. Thanks God we won't see this bum closing in this team again, at least in the short/mid term.
  9. 5? I hadn't noticed. I wouldn't discard them yet. A half-season has to be played.
  10. Well at least the Yankees lost tonight too and O's didn't play.
  11. At least I won in my parlay bet, I bet on Red Sox PLB -180 +1.5, thanks God I was covered with a 1.5 R considering this kind of contingencies
  12. It's funny how the "start exploring options" has raised.
  13. BL. We need a closer badly. Hopefully the Taz/Koji/Miiller experiment works out for us.
  14. I was just saying SFF
  15. Some still think that pitching in the 9th is just the same than pitching in other inning. Probably Farrell is one of those
  16. I do not know him. Is he this bad? Really? Wow.
  17. Only two options? Nobody has said that they are the only two option for closing Youk, as far as I know. :dunno:
  18. He is not reliable at all these days. I think it is officially a fact.
  19. Some dared to compare Bailey with Pap. Not sure why Bailey is still closing in this team. He is a piece of s***.
  20. Well this is Bailey ladies and gentlemen. He sucks. Told you.
  21. OMG here comes Bailey.
  22. Ufffff that was close! Good job Koji.
  23. WM sucks. Give the job to Iglesias for now.
  24. That BJ Upton contract could be the biggest failure in the history of the majors. Guy is lost, literally.
