    Here are some numbers. Sox are this season thus far: 29th in the last 30 days in W% 26th in SRS 20th UZR/150 22th wRC+ 29th ERA (starters) 24th ERA (@ BP) 21th SV% and on and on and on..... This season is over, it is plain and simple actually. As I said, this team has so many flaws. The ship is sinking in every department. This nightmare has happened in 3 of the last 4 years, and this year is even worse. The diagnostic and first move that has to be made is pretty simple actually, Ben and Farrell have to go, they are killing this team, not now...they have been for several years. Thanks for 2013, but they have to go. It is great to be optimistic and all, but sometimes you have to aware and realize that you have a problem first before to address it, otherwise you will live in fantasy land forever.

    This would be the 3/4 year of bad seasons with a lot of money behind. A lot of mistakes in all those years. The strategy haven't worked out. The traded players haven't worked out, in fact other teams have eaten our lunch in that regard. The FAs haven't worked out either, so Ben has to go. Farrell has to go as well, horrible fundamentals and calls executed on the field. The new FO has to change the strategy, mentality and culture of this team. They also have to get rid somehow of the busts signed like Panda, Miley, Porcello and put Kelly where he belongs, at BP. They also have to build for once and for all a solid rotation mixed with true/proved/solid arms and rounded with young top talent from the farm/trades.

    Tigers, NYY and Boston following very close Cueto: ESPNdeportes. While I love the idea of landinding Cueto, I think it's already too late.

    Couldn't catch the game but seems like ERod had his first tough day this season. This season is over, time to rebuild.

    Wonder which contracts worked well throughout all their time contracted?

    Yup. The more I see the people that have played in our 3B, the more I wonder, why in the hell did we let walk Beltre?

    I would share the load at DH and 1B (Ortiz, Hanley, Nap.). I would go with Castillo, Betts and Bradley in the OF and see what happens.

    At least they should give him a couple of months, and see what happens. This season is likely over anyways.

    I'm not sure if I trade Hanley but I would trade the other busts that Ben signed/traded, in order to clean the house; Panda, Miley, Porcello, Kelly, Castillo... Problem is that they have zero value these days.

    Wonder if this is the worst loss of the season.

    If they become the Cubs, wait and see.

    It will tax to their pockets if they keep losing.

    While you can't win every year, at least you have to be competitive or in the race as most of the high payroll teams are every year. Thing is that this team is far to be competitive in 3 of the last 4 years.

    I do not what they were thinking going like this. All the signs were all over the place. Now, we have to live with 2 of them. Unbelievable.

    Toronto is a hitting machine, yes, but this team is a complete joke.

    I think it is fair to think that a lot of professional players regardless the sport are not happy in their current teams. But once again, they are professionals.

    Isn't he a professional baseball player? He is paid to do the job, and very well btw, no more, no less.

    The only reliable pitchers are Buch and E Rod. That's it. IMO There are so many flaws in this team that can not be solved before the trade deadline. They need to clean up the house in every department. A couple of moves won't fix this.

    I think that you said that Ben should have waited a dozen of games. Not sure what are the explanations that Ben is giving to John Henry if so. I do not think that he is saying that the whole thing is an enigma LOL!

    haha.. I tried to do it in english, seems like it doesn't make sense. El es harina de otro costal in spanish. What I mean is that he has been very good this season, and not like the majority of this team.
