  1. I think, you will send Severino and will use Happ if he sucks early in the game.
  2. Congrats MVP. Your team was the best all year long. This year was very fun and competitive.
  3. Well played moon. Can’t wait to see my Sox win another WS.
  4. Reading through this thread looks like Sale is done LOL! Cmon people.
  5. If this team were playing in winning mode I would agree with you. Thing is, they aren’t... so I expect they play better in PO, not because I want it to happen but because is simply common sense.
  6. Yup. Thing is that in recent weeks we have played relaxed, while resting people and without an urgency of winning. Our 2018 ridiculous season allows you this. Said that, You’ll see this team playing close to and probably better from what we saw in the season.
  7. LOL! Cmon guys this is just another spring training game in September.
  8. I see a WS between SOX and MIL, but I would like it against the CUBS. In any case SOX of course wins.
  9. You are taking for granted you are going to beat Oakland. Oakland right now is better than the Yankees in all departments. Oakland will hit a lot of bombs in Yankee Stadium. Save my words. They will likely use their entire BP if necessary in early innings which btw is better than yours. They seem better regarding healthiness and momentum as well. We'll see what happens but I think Oakland is slightly fav to me.
  10. It's ok moon. It's called the heat of the moment LOL! I've said before. Game threads make you have short memory and it's like you are in a bar with your pals and everything turns reactionary —for good or bad. I've been there. Said that, we have the best team of baseball —beyond the record.
  11. My friend, Cora sent most of the trash he won't use in POs. You won't see Johnson-Pomeranz-Hembree-Kelly-etc going in game 1.... or 2 or 3 etc. If I were the Yankees, I would be worried. The Sox made 6 runs and could have been worse with Happ and their titular BP on the mound. It's a matter of perspective. In the end, the PO games have to be played and while the SOX are the fav, anything can happen.
  12. Wonder whether something is wrong with Price.
  13. ... and just like that 5-3. Whata weird game.
  14. Well, it will be a loooong game —in the good way LOL!
  15. This has to be taken with a grain of salt. 1. If I recall well, 3 weeks ago or so, we were over the Stros in RDiff. The thing is, while Cora has been giving up games plus no Sale & no ERod in recent weeks, Stros have been playing at full capacity. 2. Regarding SP, a healthy Sale is better than Verlader —pitch by pitch. Price is arguably the best pitcher of the second half, and pitched better than Morton last time; in fact, Morton was kind of lucky —we hit him well. Also, we own Keuchel, remember last time? he was pounded and could be worse. He was lucky too. IMO he is overrated —LOB% and BABIP don’t lie through his career. You know what I think of Porcello, but I’d rather him over Dallas Keuchel any day of the week. 3. Regarding the BP, if you take out of the equation bums like Pomeranz, Kelly, Hembree, Thorn, etc. our BP match them pretty well —not to mention our closer is arguably the best entering into the POs. 4. Our offense in the top is better with 2 legit MVPs. Mookie- Benny- Pearce- JD-XB is a better nucleo. The bottom, while is a crap shot —if hot— is better as well Kinsler-Nuñez/Devers-JBJ. Also, we have a couple of great utility players in Holt and SWI who have shown that can hit in clutch situations. 5. Regarding Defense, our defense is the best of the majors if you don’t line up Devers. Kinsler at second is vintage Pedroia, and Leon catches very well our top 2 and calls the games like nobody else in the majors. Our CF and RF are gold gloves caliber players. Also, we have the HFA, and on paper we will face a weaker opponent in the divisions and will be more rested in a potential ALCS series against them. Said that, I’ll say it again. We will win the WS. So... bring me the Astros or whoever, we are set to win it all.
  16. Some GMs should take notes of oldtimer.
  17. I wasn’t that lost LOL! As I said in other threads, Pomeranz was my biggest disappointment, my expectations were high.
  18. LOL! Guacamole goes well with everything.
  19. LOL! Geeez even when he is not pitching, he inclines his neck.
  20. 106 W folks, AND officially with the HFA.
  21. Wonder why Brasier is always with his neck inclined.
  22. Kelly neither can pitch relaxed with a 5 R lead. He confirms he simply sucks.
  23. You’ve got it Thunder, I was just kidding LOL! but... we are not going to lose again, save my words.
  24. Kelly and Hembree with Pomeranz are some of the few biggest disappointments this year. Will be really unfair and will hurt us a lot if they make the POs. I don’t think Cora will make himself harakiri LOLl.
