You know what was nice to see yesterday? The Sox running. All over the place. In the 11th inning, they had 3 hits with runners taking off, and a couple of them resulted in knocks because the defense was out of position (at least Aviles). I love that. Manufacturing runs. This team will get better, no doubt, and will win a lot of games.

Early in the season, you gotta hope that a guy like Morales still has some bullets left even though he went 2 IP yesterday. You don't go to Aceves or Melancon, that's for damn sure. Maybe Albers? He's got a decent K rate and posted a 1.59 ERA vs TOR last year.

Well at least it's only April 8th and the Yankees are 0-3 as well. The Rays have to go face the Tigers for a 3 game series this week. If they go 1-2, they'll be lucky. That Tigers offense is swinging from their heels right now. Take 2/3 from the Blue Jays, and then take 3/4 from the Rays. Lost in all of this was just how horrible Buchholz was. If he was able to go 6 IP, 3-4 ER, the Sox cruise today with Padillas showing. But, 4 IP, 7 ER? To be honest, this offense showed some heart to even get back into this game. I bet Pedroia and Gonzalez want to stab that bullpen in its collective eyeball, especially Gonzo after having his tower buzzed and then taking one in the ribs.
