  1. and by the way, if you didn't count interleague play the sox would be 8 games over .500
  2. i don't get this argument. on one hand you say if they hadn't played well in interleague play, they'd be a .500 team, then you criticize them for not beating teams they should beat aren't the national league teams they faced team they should beat? would the sox have been better off if they had a losing record in interleague like the rays?
  3. i said earlier that people should give hughes a break because at the same age last year, buchholz was struggling even more than hughes had this year. and as much as hughes has struggled, his overall stat line isn't that bad. but the major difference between buchholz does two things that hughes does not. he throws a variation on his fastball (sinker) effectively and he throws a plus change. i think hughes is going to have to improve his arsenal behind being a fastball/curveball pitcher with below average secondary pitches if he wants to be a consistent major league starter
  4. jm, who do you think you're fooling calling anyone else on this forum a pom pom waiver? you're the worst of all of them the other day you called dustin moseley a breath of fresh air for the yankees rotation
  5. beckett better get his head screwed on straight tomorrow. we're not going to make up any ground with both him and lackey sucking
  6. and any day the red sox gain ground you're "working"
  7. yeah, it's still a big win. there's a full quarter of the season to go
  8. every time the red sox lose it's "final nail in the coffin". every time the red sox win it's "tick another day off the calander" no matter what, it's some kind of victory for "the greatest sports franchise of all-time"
  9. http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:cXaVFbXuyMqYRM:http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/1448/mossi.jpg&t=1 not even close
  10. there's a lot of creepy looking guys on this team but for me pedroia takes it. he's 4 feet tall and balding
  11. i actually think pedroia is the creepiest looking guy on this team
  12. where did i lose you?
  13. no, all white people like alike. it's a scientific fact
  14. if only the yankees had a more flashy closer
  15. i'm talking about their stances
  16. wait a second now, if i mixed up cameron and hall then i'd be racist. beltre's not black so i'm just colorist
  17. is it bad that i mix up beltre and hall sometimes when i look quickly? they both look like they're taking a dump from the right side
  18. yeah, they really miss morales
  19. he gets a bad jump on pretty much everything. i see him come in on balls over his head and step back on balls hit in front of him all the time. i don't think people realize how bad he is defensively because they haven't seen him play that much
