  1. Buchholz kicked ass out there and you can tell his confidence in his stuff is increasing. Now when someone gets a hit off him or a fielder makes a bad error, he doesn't get shaken, he just gets down to business. He's bound to have another bad start, all pitchers do, but it'll be interesting to see how he follows up that bad start. 8 innings out a starter was the best gift Buchholz could have given the Sox. I held my breath every pitch of the 9th with Ramirez but he pulled it out. The Sox have now won 3 series in a row.
  2. Ok... that's just weird.
  3. Hmmmm... LOL Ok so maybe we shouldn't push the panic button quite yet. Thanks BoSox21
  4. Oh lord, I just remembered. I was watching the fight where Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini killed Doo Koo Kim in the ring. That wasn't just scary, it haunted you.
  5. Florie's was even scarier. He caught it full in the face and just sat there with blood pouring out of - everything. Never lost consciousness and talked through the entire ordeal. That was the scariest thing in sports I've ever seen.
  6. Pedroia, Youkilis, Lester, Beckett, Buccholz and Ellsbury. If I can't have all of them, I'm not playing. (and possibly Lackey but the love's not there yet.
  7. Is this play anywhere on the internet. I didn't see it either and it's driving me nuts, this is an interesting conversation.
  8. Dipre is disagreeing with me but I'm not suggesting he's angry or irrational, because he's obviously not. It's not an internet thing, it's just you. Your anger is palpable and it's not necessary.
  9. And I think you now need to step back and take several deep breaths. BTW.. I think I understood your post just fine and I think everyone else did too.
  10. That first paragraph was a bit inflammatory and I completely disagree with you. You have too much emotion rolled up in a player your don't know personally and who doesn't even know you're alive. " lazy, ignorant lack of appreciation for a productive player" I can't even comment on that nonsensical statement without a string of colorful metaphors that would probably get me permanently banned. Step back and take a deep breath ORS. He's just a ballplayer that you mean nothing to and that a great many true Red Sox fans don't like. If he was such a jewel he wouldn't need to be defended by you diehards so often. His contribution to the team is strongly debatable, if it wasn't it wouldn't constantly be debated. On one of the other boards I post to, one of the posters has repeatedly said that he'd probably like Drew a lot more if it wasn't for his cheering squad. And there are times I understand exactly what he means.
  11. LOL... Well Warren's a friend of mine and a really good guy, he's just not a big fan of the Drewster. I have no idea his opinion on SP or FG.
  12. Oh Warren I told you it would get ugly if you dared defile the "Drew". I agree with you Warren, btw.. but I'm not telling these guys that.
  13. Pedroia is in a bad slump, he's really pressing.
  14. Well we didn't exactly knock the cover off the ball.
  15. I don't like Family Guy but I don't have any passionate feelings about it one way or the other. I appreciate it's satirical humor. I like South Park but I don't want to marry it. I really don't get all revved up over anything in Pop Culture, none of it really matters that much.
  16. I think it's also very relevant that Lester looked "better" than he has.
  17. I watch South Park. I'm 46, relax.
  18. Just wait until "someone" informs us that a win against the Orioles is nothing to celebrate.
  19. Yes I'm sure I'm old enough to be your great-grandmother.
  20. "when in reality (speculation alert) he's just a laid back guy that doesn't like the attention." And you have nothing more to back that up than Warren's "he doesn't care".
  21. I disagree with your debating my conjecture and I speculate on your motives. I guess you guys aren't getting that I think this entire conversation is a little goofy and aren't really being serious.
