I think you misinterpret me, so I'll clarify.
The most important thing is that they need to get a new oufielder. This has to happen, period. I want to trade Ellsbury, if and only if the team can get value out of him, like pieces for an A-gon/Fielder deal. if that is not possible, keep Ellsbury around, and put Kalish to AAA. Considering the injury risks in the outfield, I don't think he's going to be blocked the full 2011. Plus, I don't think extra development time would do him harm.
Cameron and Drew are worth far more on this team than off because the Red Sox can afford their bad contracts a lot more than other teams. I believe that a deal Ellsbury is worth exceeds the value he has on this team.
