I definitely wasn't a fan of Bedard through the week when we were discussing this, but looking at the deal, it is clear that Theo did some real dealing on this one.
Federowicz probably didn't project very good offensively, but I'd always hoped he would have emerged as a "good-enough" bat to push his glove to the majors. The others seemed like filler to me. I'm okay with sending a few low ceiling prospects for a rental that has the stuff to pitch to a 3.00 ERA.
