  1. Uehara looked like he went to greet the team with his hand up, as if to say "You need to highfive that s***".
  2. Is Uehara the best signing of the Red Sox offseason?
  3. You know you have a good bullpen when Uehara is your 6th inning reliever.
  4. Sabathia is out of the game. Does it make a difference anymore?
  5. Sabathia looks like he lost his momentum. Iggy grand slam?
  6. So the 5th inning is going to be the last for CC?
  7. Two foul-line hits, and broken bat, one outfield popup that sneaked down in center right. Not an awful inning for Lester.
  8. Clutch strikeout. May we have another?
  9. Come on... ground ball to Iggy.
  10. Iglesias going 2 for 2. That'll go a long way for your .600 OPS
  11. Well, in all fairness it probably would have been Victorino in LF, and Gomes in RF for Yankee Stadium. Remmy mentioned it earlier today.
  12. Everyone remember this moment. According to the national media, we probably won't have this much fun again for the rest of the season
  13. As I've said a few times this offseason, I've gotten to the point this offseason where I sometimes get out of hand just talking about this team:lol: Now that we're here, I've been saying second place ALE, with a wildcard.
  14. Very impressive at bat. 7 pitch walk for Bradley.
  15. Holy crap, one inning, and Salty has already screwed up twice. Get this guy off this team.
  16. Pro-tip, don't hit the ball to Iglesias.
  17. Bradley made up a ton of ground for that foul ball. This defense is going to be sweet.
  18. Sabathia made Napoli look foolish.
  19. The Yankees embrace being evil. Sounds about right.
  20. This contract gets more and more disgusting. If Andrus wants, he can opt out after the 4th year, but there is a vesting option that could make it a 150 million dollar contract. So, if he sucks, he stays, and if he's good he can re-negotiate for more money. Wow.
  21. I just don't understand what is wrong with his point. The five biggest problems with this team last year were: 1) The starting pitching 2) Injuries (or GMs building a team with many injury prone players, your pick) 3) Bullpen's failures in late innings, despite strong general stats. 4) Power failure mid season 5) Manager destroyed clubhouse chemistry. #3 and #5 are pretty much fixed. #2 and #4 will be something we watch for, but so far most of the team is healthy, or there has been a solid replacement for them. That leaves #1. This staff has done absolutely everything they could to impress us over the last few months. Almost the entire pitching staff went to ST weeks early. Lackey lost somewhere from 20-40 pounds. Buchholz and Lester were #1 and #2 in baseball for ERA in ST. They need to show results in real games. But if they pitch like they did in ST, what's stopping this team?
