Agreed. I understand that Bogaertz is very very young, but if he can help this team get some wins... why not call him up? Iglesias has such a great glove, and yet he's played so poorly at 3B.

Just to be clear, Chris Sale is signed for 7 more years. That's why the package is so much better.

You've got to be kidding me? I'd be fired my first day with ideas like that. Chris Sale is 15 years too young for the Yankees.

It took Will Meyer to get Shields, so I don't think that package would be far off from what the White Sox would be looking for. I rarely advocate selling the farm, but Sale looks like a guy who will anchor a rotation for years to come, more specifically during a playoff-push in a year when no team really stands out above the rest.

On another note, how about selling the farm for Chris Sale? He's exactly the kind of guy you do it for. Big young lefty ace, very cost-controlled. I don't think I would lose much sleep over trading Bogaertz + WMB + Webster + Workman for him, but that probably won't be enough.

"Lackey, John Surgery" ? Crazy fact I heard the other day. Of the 400+ pitchers on major league rosters, roughly 1/3rd of them have had Tommy John surgery.
