  1. 1 year, 800k iirc.
  2. How is it that when I disagree with you, its trolling? I raised a legit point and you disagree while refusing to add to the discussion. Just saying, don't call me a troll because you found someone to back up your claim from months ago that the risk is about the injury.
  3. Now you're just putting your head in the sand.
  4. And you're right, Ryan always knows what he's talking about. He's the best GM I've ever seen, despite no WS to show for it. Bill Smith ruined a powerhouse. No one plays moneyball as good as Ryan.
  5. Well I think you're confusing injury risk with monetary risk.
  6. Havent really experienced good macro brewery stuff. Micro brews are usually better.
  7. At least its almost kinda rhyming. Nickname parodies that are not even close to rhyming are awful. Only 50 year olds and Dane Cook fans could find amusement in that.
  8. The poll question is actually "if they did".
  9. :x Minnesota doesnt have much for good beer.
  10. Its still the portion of the schedule. You can lose out your chance at the playoffs in 4 games if Peyton Manning is out. You will never go 0-40 and fall completely out of a race if you lose one baseball player.
  11. Pedroia is our Jeter basically. Face of the franchise, heart of the team as far as I can see. We'll see, but Pedroia should get all the votes.
  12. And 4 games in the NFL is roughly the equivalent to 40 games of an MLB season. So yeah.
  13. Because the fans don't give a s*** about doping in those sports. You can get busted and if you're good enough, you could still be a HOFer in the NFL. Regardless of how MLB handles it, the players will be crucified by the public and press, that isn't up to the league.
  14. This basically ends speculation that Ben had more payroll to work with, and was just choosing to be cheap on his own. Not that there was much substance to that argument anyways.
  15. This is just ridiculous.
  16. I think it was just latched on to by the media because it somehow illustrates a careless environment. Would they have performed better without the beer and chicken? Nope, they didn't just start drinking the division away. They shat the bed. End of story.
  17. Haven't felt as optimistic about the lineup since the beginning of last year. Now if Crawford returns to form (not a .600s OPS hitter) I expect the offense to be elite, even with expected regression from Ortiz and Ellsbury. The offseason was not impressive, they gave up a good SS for nothing, but they improved with Ross. Still not very optimistic with the pitching. Absolutely must have health.
  18. No one would've cared if they didn't fall apart. Just win. Who cares about the beer and chicken crap.
  19. I don't see how it ties in to giving them a slap on the wrist the first time. Even if the league doesn't crucify them, the fans, who think that s*** doesnt have a place in the game, will. The players can choose to stop it, by not doing the juice and possibly not being a major player to begin with.
