  1. A lot of Yankees fans are Patriots fans. Seems like the two teams have a lot in common. ......
  2. Andrew Jackson was just a cold hard motherf***er. Teddy Roosevelt was a bad ass dude.
  3. Let us pray. ZZZZZZZZZ
  4. Just make one and find out. I can already tell you, someone's going to criticize Obama, and several members will lose their s*** over it.
  5. Wait, he said Derek Jeter was his favorite player? f*** that.
  6. I love listening to Vin Scully, he has the best voice and he's always telling you things that you'd never know unless you listened to Dodgers games. Whenever I have the opportunity I listen to Dodgers games just so I can hear Vin.
  7. Rivera would be the first closer to make it first ballot if I remember correctly. I think there's a good chance with how petty the voters are that he gets snubbed his first time just because of that. They intentionally snubbed Robbie Alomar for one year, and they can definitely do it to Rivera for being a closer. Jeter is an absolute lock for the first ballot, though.
  8. Well then, my job is done.
  9. Did he actually say he roots for Derek Jeter? I legitimately didn't see the post where he said it, so I don't know. If he just says he likes Derek Jeter, that doesn't mean he necessarily roots for him. I think he knows that better than you do. You'd be bullying regardless in this situation, and the fact that he's 14 just makes it even more shameful that you're going out of your way to do this. What do you think it is? Giving him s***?
  10. IMO, playing better is part of what makes you respectable. Why do you think Mo's more respectable than Jeter, then?
  11. You guys are going out of your way to bully someone. This us vs. "sensitive people" clique s*** needs to stop.
  12. Either one. Jeter's a full time player, and not someone who pitches for one inning at a time. Out of the two of them, Jeter's the most likely to make it to the HOF on his first try.
  13. Definitely doesn't mean you root for the Yankees. It means he likes one Yankees player out of the entire organization, and the most respectable one at that.
  14. He was probably using Adderall or something.
  15. No one necessarily dislikes any of them, they just aren't shown the same respect because it's fake. For all of you Halo fans out there, it's like going online and you think you're good until some guy with softmods keeps killing you in one shot. Yeah he beat you, and yeah he's technically better than you since he can kill you in one shot, but he's also a cheater.
  16. It's no secret that Bonds was a HOF talent before using steroids. He just definitely wasn't going to have anything close to a .600 OBP without them, though. You can't really say how much it helped him, but I'm willing to bet his highest OBP without steroids would be well over 100 points lower had he not been juicing.
  17. Every man is flawed in that way. .... It's only natural?
  18. The s*** he was using supposedly helped his plate discipline, not just with getting ripped. Idk if he was using amphetamines on top of the steroids, or if that was just one drug, but he was cheating in more ways than just getting superhuman power. On top of that, it definitely was PEDs.
  19. It's the only explanation for him hitting 17 home runs that year.
  20. It was very shallow, Ted, but I know how you men are.
  21. Hit the nail on the head. No way in hell that I can respect what Bonds did the same way that I could respect it had it been done legitimately.
  22. Using PEDs isn't even creative or sneaky or anything, it's just cheating. I don't have the same respect for any player who's used PEDs. I'll still like Ortiz as a player, I'll still want him to be successful, but no way he should even be considered for the HOF. Either way, he is different from A-Rod in that he isn't a rat. I think the only player I really dislike more than A-Rod is Braun.
  23. Ryan Braun is a piece of s***. He was just lying and shaming everyone in his now infamous exoneration presser, and now that he's been exposed he's trying to throw someone else under the bus.
  24. You're comparing his running skills to the running skills of a running back when he's going to be lining up as a QB? That'd be like me comparing Riddley's throwing skills to Tebow's throwing skills because you continue recycle this talking point that Tebow can't throw. Buuuuut, you already did that for me. I'd seriously like to see Riddley lead a team to the playoffs, and throw for 300 yards to beat the Steelers. Feel free to come up with any excuse you want for that, btw. Oh, so you actually agree with me that he would be an asset to someone, whether or not it's with the Patriots. s***, for a second there I thought you were actually disagreeing with me.
  25. Tebow has a lot to offer that you're not giving him credit for, whether or not he stays with the Pats. He can make plays.
