  1. He's Tim Tebow, one of the best college football players of all time. It has nothing to do with Jesus. What I thought was so funny about it is ESPN was stroking it over what he was doing, and then it seemed like everyone on the internet posting on sports forums would just be the exact opposite. 45% completion rate, oh man he sucks, what a s***** QB he can't even find his guys wide open. He was an efficient QB that year, I think he only threw a few INTs in all of the games he played. To me the anti-Tebow camp is just as outrageous as ESPN. He can in fact throw a football, he can in fact make a smart decision with the ball, and he did in fact win several games on a team that was pretty mediocre up to that point in the season. I don't love Tim Tebow or anything, but he's done alright.
  2. Even the Twins can beat up on the White Sox. This series is in the bag.
  3. McDaniels obviously wants Tebow to make the team, that's his guy. Tebow supposedly make a lot of progress when McDaniels was his coach in Denver, and after McD was gone, he wasn't really anyone's project after that. If Tebow learns to make the right decisions and works on his mechanics, he could definitely be a good QB. Especially now with a league where everyone's moving in a mobile QB direction.
  4. I don't think any of the people that anyone should actually miss are banned, they just stopped logging in.
  5. Koji has a 339 ERA+ this season. Just putting that out there. Ofc, he has not been a closer, or broken nearly as many bats as Mo did.
  6. Don't worry, he'll strike out one more time and you can change it.
  7. It'd be the guy from the video, no question.
  8. It'd be a waste on them, but fine by me.
  9. Agreed, what's hilarious is that he thought somehow not putting your hand on the bible and swearing on it suddenly changes everything. He was probably trying to illustrate to his people (guys like this always have "people") that Buzz is a liar and a thief. Ridiculous.
  10. I LOVE that shot. God what a tool, even if you don't think the moon landing was real (not going to get into it) you should really want that guy to get the absolute piss kicked out of him. Swear on the bible, what a f***ing nut.
  11. Think of what we thought was a nice TV 8 years ago. Those big boxy flatscreens... Can't even give those things away anymore. LOL.
  12. http://texas.rangers.mlb.com/images/2011/04/09/9KXqrYur.jpg Dat scoreboard.
  13. The Sox will score 29 runs tonight, falling one run short of the record number of runs scored against the Orioles.
  14. He's been good more often than not, bud.
  15. Target Field is just so much better though. The only thing I really liked about the dome was the homefield advantage we had there. It's just so loud in there when there's a sellout crowd and everyone's going nuts.
  16. Depends. Target Field has amazing food, but the MetroDome had terrible food. Now there's Surly on tap everywhere (If I'm going to spend 7 or 8 dollars on a beer, might has well spend the extra dollar to get something that doesn't taste like piss) and this really good sausage stand that I always go to.
  17. Yeah, going to the games is definitely the best way to experience baseball. I can't think of a better way to spend the afternoon than watching the Twins get their asses kicked at Target Field. Not even being sarcastic.
  18. Warren Zevon is great. He gets a lot of appreciation from people who listen to a lot of music. He's probably one of the most respected artists of the 70s.
  19. Tones in music do that. Slow a song down, and play the song in minor and suddenly it sounds depressing.
  20. Bangwagon fans are the worst, they should just get a room.
  21. The thing is that there's always going to be ambiguity with music. To me the lyrics are obviously dark, but it could also be a song about perseverance to someone else. You can't really say they're wrong, either. Look where Bruce Springsteen is now.
  22. Ofc you can, expressing yourself through music is a good thing. I love his music (I think Born In The USA is a terrible album, though) and the political lyrics really don't bother me. I never got that people didn't understand the content of that song, the lyrics don't hide anything.
  23. You like a lot of insufferable things, you masochist you. also, we need a lol emote.
  24. Okay, so they're more like the Chicago Bulls of the NFL.
