    who gives a f***, if it really distracts Arod then he really doesnt deserve to be playing well anyways, Mickey Mantle played Drunk/Hungover many times and that didnt seem to be a distraction, maybe he will throw his bum hip out giving it to her, not sure why Hudson would start this s*** in the middle of the season, maybe ARod liked Madonna because the bitch has to be sterile. I wouldnt worry Yankees fans its not like the distraction could hurt ARods numbers in October lol.

    I kind of figured, Papi hasnt shown alot on the road...I dont mind still giving him a few starts at Fenway but I just dont know that there is really much more that we can expect from Papi...

    what are Papi's home/away splits? just curious. Im just not sure we can wait through the suck if Lowell is rolling.

    and that really isnt really worth waiting for from a DH...I think Papi could be useful to another team maybe but not in Boston, as much as I love Papi he just isnt carrying his weight anymore.

    10Ks for Chris Carpenter against the Reds, that kid is a monster and I love the way he pitches the ball.

    I dont want to make generalizations but there is a good portion of Philly's fanbase that are dicks and dont respect the game as a whole and those type of fans are a real cancerous sore on the game.

    Ells as of late has really started to get on base and play well hes had some nice ABs and I think he will warm up to that as the season goes on and next year, and comparing Ells' OBP and BBs to Drew's is unfair because of lineup positions, power threats, their threat levels on the basepaths, and experience, its apples and oranges my friend.

    a leadoff guy really needs to foul off a bunch of pitches too and that leads to walks and Ells is young and starting to grasp the concept rather well you dont start walking overnight especially if you have little power and are a threat on the base paths.

    true but this team before recently was playing at a level of suck i once thought unatainable and now we are rolling without our best player, bats have woken up and I think it really means something now even if we dont have a huge winning streak I think the string of suck by our lineup is over and our pitching is stepping up and getting closer to the return of Wake and Dice-K it is a good sign and it does mean something.
