    a pitcher throwing a 90MPH+ fastball at some one on purpose is the equivalent of him throwing a punch you can only take so much of that before you swing back.

    I know, i am agreeing with you he gets far too much s*** from alot of pitchers, im just saying that part of it is him hugging the plate, how many of those were intentional?

    I know im just saying that if Im a pitcher im bound to bean someone if they keep hugging my plate, especially if someone has just beaned my team mate, im just seeing the other sides mentality there but I do agree that Youk was completely justified there.

    true and id have the same mentality regarding them as well the pitcher should always own his plate but I do agree with you, Youk gets hit ALL THE TIME and if i was him id retaliate too and infact if im Youk i wouldnt give in to a pitcher pitching inside and let them plunk me, it is a free base after all.

    I agree, but I also have the mentality that a pitcher needs to own the plate and if someone is really hugging the plate (Youk) im going to come inside and try and push their ass off the plate and if the situation calls for it even bean em its the Pedro Martinez philosophy.
