Yeah, Tex had no business starting the All-Star game. He only had more hits/HR/RBI because he has played in more games, he plays in Yankee Stadium, and he has a better offense around him. Away from Yankee Stadium, he's a .251/.366/.462 hitter and with runners in scoring position, he's a .245/.407/.436 hitter. He might just be the most overrated player in baseball this year.

Hahaha, this is what happens when stuff gets taken out of context. I'm indifferent to Obama (which is saying a lot given how I've felt about past U.S. presidents). There is quite a bit of bitterness in Canada that the U.S. got Canada involved in Afghanistan, then largely abandoned many of the Canadian troops to go to Iraq.

For clarification, a fen is a marsh-like area. Hence, Fenway was partially named after the traditional "Fens" neighborhood of Boston almost 100 years ago. But since, the Boston neighborhood known as "The Fens" has been relocated and inclsudes an area close to, but not including (according to most people, not everyone) Fenway Park. -

I went with Lester, because it's easy to get a power 1B. But I wouldn't make a verdict on Youk's career potential just yet. He's shown surprising improvement every year. I remember pointing out after 2007 how his AVG, HR and SLG have gone up every year. I didn't think he'd become this good though.
