    As it turns out Bard has legit physical reasons why he started to suck. I'm not happy that Workman's arm is injured and may go pop. I think that he could be a good set up man or even closer some day. But his window is now closing.

    It's just the second inning. Two dingers is not good but he may improve. The O's are an aggressive team.

    Same here. I do not like the way he was treated at the end of 2011. He deserved better. To me, he was the ideal manager for this franchise.

    There once was a man from Boston. He drove down to the cape in an Austin. He had room for his ass, a gallon of gas. But his balls hung out so he lost 'em. For the young people here who don't know what an Austin is, it was an Austin Healey. A British sports car.

    NY is morally bereft. He'll have a ticker tape parade when he breaks Arron's record and we will all have to watch a ton of new endorsement deals on TV. He is not Arron Hernandez, to be sure. But he is not worthy of our respect, either.

    It's still very early. The offense has yet to fully blossom. Give it another month and that will be what we have.

    Buch had what I am tempted to label a "Dice K-ish" Quality Start. 6 innings, 11 hits 2 walks, 7 k. This is who he is and it is not good enough most days. I suppose I should be happy that he only allowed 2 runs. But he was very fortunate to get out of trouble at least two times when he could have been shelled. He sucks ass.

    I agree to some extent. However, Buch has been doing this s*** for what? 7 years? He blows goats. He did get 2 ks to get out of the inning. Just what the Spud ordered!

    I've said this before. I really don't spend much time hating on the Yankees. It's the obnoxious Yankee fans I loath. Only Jets fans are worse. Anytime a NY team loses it warms my heart and brings a smile to my face since I know those creeps are unhappy.

    I realize that many here think that Brandon Workman is of little consequence. His efforts to become a starter last year were close to a disaster and all. However, he was a pretty big piece of the winning puzzle in 2013 and looked "poised" to become a key component for subsequent years. A couple of days ago Dr. Andrews injected Workman's elbow with platelets ( just as Tanaka received last year ). Of course I do not understand the severity of his elbow issue but my guess is that he can no longer be thought of as a potential pen arm this year. This sucks big time, I think. I like power arms and the Sox have very few. Oh well. Just wanted to bring this up in case anyone missed it.
