  1. Money well spent!!!!!
  2. No, he would never make the Dean's List either.
  3. So. With Bogey down for an unspecified time my guess is that Holt starts at SS. So combined with Castillo being on the DL that leaves only two reserve outfielders on the 25. Good thing this team has depth!!
  4. Xander Bogaerts out of lineup with knee soreness http://espn.go.com/boston/mlb/story/_/id/12690919/boston-red-sox-ss-xander-bogaerts-lineup-knee-soreness Great news!!!
  5. He can't hit for s***. If or when he does then he may get a shot at the bigs. And he has to learn when not to make a throw. Sometimes he tries to do too much.
  6. Now, now. Have respect for the Dean!!!!!!
  7. MVP is right. This team does not have the best compliment of players and spends money on the wrong ones. I'd keep Clod another year and see if new blood can take this team back to the playoffs.
  8. Not considered a prospect but still kind of interesting. I am curious about Jemile Weeks. Probably will be another Pedro Ciriaco and end up playing with another team.
  9. Then there is this guy. http://www.news-press.com/story/sports/mlb/2015/04/13/red-sox-prospect-yoan-moncada-triples-debut/25727599/
  10. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/2015/04/14/report-rusney-castillo-shoulder-injury-will-land-him/HcYePFq4i4iQPMp8dpFa1M/story.html He's going on the 15 day DL. I hope Victorino plays well. Of course I am aware that the Sox still enjoy a surplus of OF talent.
  11. Maybe. But it does seem odd that this quirk was not exposed while he was with the Sox. There were plenty of times that he had a man on 1st and nothing of note happened. I never heard one peep of his yips. Odd.
  12. ESPN spent a bunch of time discussing Lester and his problems throwing to first base and how it will effect the infield defense, etc. How come this was never an issue in Boston? I never noticed that he did not throw to first. Hmm.
  13. Yup. And that could be useful going forward. They are not likely to score a franchise player in this draft anyway.
  14. Watching Buch is maddening. He is purported to be a great athlete and to have some crazy good stuff. We have all seen him dominate to the extent that hitters look lost. Yet we all have this overwhelming feeling of doom when he takes the mound. I swear that he really stupid and probably has little heart. I will never expect extended periods of good performance from him. I hope that if he has sucked for the entire season that the Sox do not exercise options on him.
  15. He is a giant lunkhead. Glad I missed that miscue, at least.
  16. Always nice to win the home opener.
  17. Never throw Mookie an inside fastball.
  18. I dislike all the pre-game ceremony crap. Too much touchy feely stuff. Just play the game.
  19. Cheers to the most expensive MLB game experience!!!!!! Glad I have HDTV! GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. And one more thing. You have the second coolest avatar.
  21. Or, you could stay the course and be non-confrontational and apologize to Youk and everyone else on board ( if you are Dutchy ). No one questions your intelligence, who ever you are. Your integrity is what is in question. Come clean and the others will have to STFU.
  22. Far be it from me to defend Purple Lips. How evah, the horse man has very little experience at 1st. With repetition, he should or at least could become more proficient. I'm just waiting for a play where a batter approaches 1st and knocks the ball out of his Froid's purse. And, of course, if the Puple One goes tumbling on his injection pocked ass I will smile all the more.

    Golf

Golf is sort of like billiards. Mostly skill controllable by the player being paramount. Of course the opponent can leave you in a bad position. But your own skill has much more to do with the end result. The common aspect is overall talent. If you suck, you won't be clutch. If you are very talented, you may be seen as clutch. Am I making any sense at all?
  24. I second this motion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO f***ING SOX!!!11111111!!!!!1!!11
