    Nava is out of options so he can't be hidden in Pawtucket. But, it turn out that Craig has options!!!! I did not know this. Maybe he will be sent to Pawtucket for a while to work on his batting or whatever. Castillo continues to get back into game condition and has been hitting the ball from what I have read. The outfield continues to be a mess.

    So it seems that Bradley is on his way up. He was pulled from the lineup today. Either that or he is on his way to another team. I hope not.

    This is who Kelly is regardless of weather he is "bound to improve" this season. He just does not have what it takes to be in a rotation.

    Kimmi please do not get me wrong. I really enjoy the way that you look at the game and how your understanding and knowledge of stats help you form strong, rational opinions. My comment is not meant as affront to you. I just believe that there should not be any expectation that rotation will turn around and be decent to good enough to go to the post season. And I can tell you that you are not the first woman that I have caused to sigh!!!

    While your statement of statistical facts are very interesting and useful Clay Bucholtz just does not have the stuff to be a starter in this market. Not a good one, anyway. Will he have periods this year when he pitches decently or even pretty well. Sure. Of course. He does that most every year and then the clock strikes twelve and he sucks big green donkey dicks again. Anyone who believe that Clay Bucholtz will somehow become something that he has never been is dreaming. He should be selling edibles in Texas.

    Nava will hit once again. He is very cheap outfield depth. Even as only a decent platoon hitter, he still has value to the Sox. I don't understand why Graig does not hit. He looks healthy. But I won't miss him. He is an expensive stiff if he does not hit.

    But this rotation is no enigma. It just plain sucks ass and no amount of statistical projection will improve it. They just do not have the talent. Except for maybe Porcello.

    I was busy tonight. I got lucky. I only saw the first 3 innings and the top of the 9th. Loaded bases with no outs and the Sox failed to score????? 2 hits and 0 runs to start a 10 game road trip????? Miley may not be very good.

    When we should really be more interested in the quality of pitchers they draft and how they develop them.

    If that is true then a move had to be made I guess. I think that the Sox have several concurrent problems and that this move alone will not enable the Sox to make big progress.

    The comment itself does not bother me. I have no interest in seeing betting stuff in a game thread. This thread should be for baseball related stuff with few exceptions. I come on this thread to read that content, not betting info. There is a betting thread dedicated to discussion of betting. It belongs there in my opinion.
