  1. I saw that interview too. It seems so basic. Pedroia found it right away yet Davis didn't? Napoli said that Davis was involved after the flight. In any case I hope that Nap goes on a tear.
  2. Victorino is hitting very well in a sample. If he stays healthy and productive I don't see him being replaced.
  3. I was critical of his defense last year. I was skeptical about all the work he did in Arizona to better his footwork. But it is clear if you watch the games that he has made strides. I have not seen an abundance of bad throws this year. People often lose sight of how young he still is. He is getting better.
  4. There is a long way to go Doc. Many things can happen. Overall, you must be pretty pleased with your team. I would be.
  5. Despite the pitching performing well over the past two times through the rotation it remains a concern of mine. I do think Porcello and possibly MIley will do what was expected of each of them. But I have no confidence in Buch. Kelly is still a question mark and Masterson is very likely cooked. What happens when in the middle of the season or later when arms get fatigued or injuries happen? It's nice to think that Barnes, Johnson, or Rodriguez could step up but I think that it is unlikely they will ad a whole lot to a playoff push. But I plan on watching all the games anyway. It's my duty to do so.
  6. I may be wrong but I have assumed that Hanley has a low baseball IQ. Or maybe he's just an ass clown like Manny. Probably both. At least he was safe this time.
  7. I'll snap if they reverse this call.
  8. I wonder if she has seen Garapolo?
  9. Johnson will get his chance.
  10. Good question. But I would question his choice of 3rd baseman when Toronto got Donaldson for Lawrie and a bag of balls. I've not been a Donaldson fanboy but I can see that he is clearly superior defensively and that he is more likely to have power output than Sandoval for a fraction of the tab. So yes, I question Ben's construction of this roster.
  11. Bogey with the two baga'!!!!
  12. I was kidding. Lol.
  13. Lol. Still, Pedroia remains one of the best defensive second basemen in the AL. His occasional error is among the least of the Sox problems.
  14. Good start by Miley. Is anyone waiting for him to turn into a pumpkin? NEED RUNS!!!!
  15. Anyone here wondering about Craig? After he was sent down to Pawtucket, he now has been waived. No team claimed him and his 31 mil contract. I wonder what happens now. I assume that the Sox will trade him and eat more salary. At what point does a team believe that they may have eaten too much money in this process?
  16. The rain should subside by early afternoon from what I have heard. I am hoping that baseball is played tonight.
  17. That's good enough. Bring him up and put him in the lineup!!!
  18. Yup. Brentz has a nice swing and some real pop. I don't know about his plate discipline. But that can improve. He'll probably end up in Oakland or San Diego. Some team that will afford him a shot.
  19. True, we have. But they have been in snooze mode all year at home. Not sure what to think of Papi. We have seen him struggle before, too. Last year his BA dropped precipitously. He said it was at least parlty because of the shift. This year is even worse, so far. And what does worry me is the lack of power and XBH. I have assumed that he will play through 2016 so he can amass 500 HR for HOF consideration. At this rate I do not see 30+ HR in the card for him this year. We'll see.
