  1. Pretty strange to hear that Peddey is so poorly ranked when for the bulk of his career he was known as an excellent base runner.
  2. I'd put JBJ back in the 9 hole.
  3. Lol. Who was it that bet that Porcello would not have an ERA under 4.0 for 2016? That bet is looking like a bad one now.
  4. I can see it now. The Sox sign A-Roid to be DH in 2017. Oh what fun that would be!
  5. But will A-Roid land on another team this year? He is free to do so, isn't he? There are grumblings about Miami signing him. They have no DH there but he could hit a few dingers in September. Or so it is said.
  6. Of course the Sox do have a GM.
  7. I don't know where I suggested a 6 man rotation. I merely suggested that at some point during the remainder of this season Buch will make another start. Everyone here is so quick to point out anything that smells of suck and failure yet when a player who had not been performing well "quietly" starts playing like he used to he can be ignored. I've watched all of Buch's relief appearances looking for any indicator of where his stuff is at. For at least his last 4 appearances he has had his quality stuff. No one talks about it. One injury or a stretch of suck ( as in Pom Pom ) to a starter and boom, Clay starts.
  8. Timely and topical post.
  9. The thing is that Clay has looked pretty solid for a while now. Maybe Good Buch is available finally? I have a feeling that he will start again and contribute. Just my opinion, of course.
  10. He hit a pitch off his ankle.
  11. Price better not f*** this up. BEAT LA!!!!!
  12. Me too. If he accepts a MiLb assignment he could regain his release point and be back from what I have read.
  13. I have made a habit of raging on Horseface for years since he chose the Yankees, not the Sox. Still, I wonder what type of numbers he would have put up if he had been healthy more of the time? Good bye.
  14. I think Swihart was already moved to the 60 day but I am not sure.
  15. Well one thing is certain. Farrell is not clutch!
  16. I'm with you Sister woman.
  17. Of course maybe we have misread this. Talk is that Swihart may be done for the season. If so, could he be replaced by this ham n' egger?
  18. Yup. After posting that it did occur to me that I should have explained to some dolts here that the Sox could go backwards in the standings playing .500 ball. Sorry for over estimating the intellect of our fellow members!
  19. More likely that he was just looking to get into it with somebody over nothing significant.
