Nice. Get two strikes and walk the lead-off hitter on 8 pitches. That tells me all I need to know about Drool tonight. Until he throw a meatball to the next guy up! Nice. As if walking a lead-off hitter with 62 SB is not bad enough. Pom Pom is a soft tosser. He is nowhere near as good as Buch when he was on his game. But he drives me just as nuts! Good glove by Rutledge on the SB attempt and the ball to his left for the out. Sox need to get some runs tonight. That is not too much to ask for off of Paralta or whoever this lump is.

No, it is not sexist to voice objection to inferior performance from an announcer or color "person". I think that she sucks. Plain and simple. I do not and will not long for the days of Joe Morgan, however. I think that he too, blew goats. Was I being sexist then?

For whatever reason Fenway has been viewed as a Homer park by many. Maybe because of the wall making HR so dramatic. In reality I believe it is really more of a doubles park. The wall given and the wall taketh away. I have no stats to support my idea. Just how I see it.

I'm sure all Sox players have fielded gazillions of grounders and made as many throws. Same with fly balls, etc. The problem is that very few of them are executing their skills very well at the moment. I think that one problem is that some guys are not fielding the positions that they came up playing. They just are not that good ( yet? ) at their recent assignments.

Of course. That would be nice. One thing is obvious. What we saw today was much closer to what the Sox offense can be than what they have shown so far. That AAAA lump that the Twins threw out there today was "salad" and the Sox should have pounded him. Still, this team has too much talent to scuffle the entire season. Runs will come.

Nice to see them jump on that stiff. He had nothing. The batting order had little to do with 8 runs in an inning. That error and that stiff on the mound were welcome gifts. I'd like to see the Sox go off and score 14-16 runs. I don't like putting up 8 and then backing off. Swing to win big boys!
