    We're still a reliever ahead of them (assuming they replace Farquhar to start the bottom half) and they now have Morales/Morse out of the game, so they really only have a couple of threats on offense. And, as you mention we have the heart of our order coming up.

    And to think he had an ERA of 6.00 entering the game. On a side note there's a really good magician with the last name Farquhar.

    Going into this game, in 23 games (96 AB's) Morales is .260/.298/.448/.746 with 4 HR's and a 21/5 K/BB ratio.

    The best part is now Morales and Morse are out of the game, and that's like half of Seattle's good part of the lineup.

    As established with the Tazawa inning, the majority of these next hitters are weaker vs. lefties. I might have used Breslow before Thornton, but if Thornton can't get Seattle players out that are weaker vs. lefties then he doesn't deserve a roster spot.

    Better him than De La Torre. At least Nava took 11 pitches to get out which can get Seattle onto it's next reliever a bit earlier.

    Alex Torres is at .64 WHIP and a .27 ERA after today's game. That's 1 run in 33 innings. I couldn't do that in a video game on easy mode.

    Thanks to Koji's efficiency now Seattle is on their 4th reliever before we even get to our 3rd.

    19 pitches, 17 strikes. The only balls were in that last at bat. Impressive.

    Baltimore shutout 11-0 to Houston nonetheless.

    I still wish we didn't take out Tazawa since he only had 9 pitches, but it's good to see they didn't take out Uehara after 8 pitches. Those extra innings can save us if the game goes far into extra innings.

    In 20 innings against us (going into the game) he's 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA 1.10 WHIP and .219 BAA. 22/6 K/BB

    A better pitcher, at a better salary, and let's face it, a better person than Papelbon.

    Tazawa did only throw 9 pitches, I'd use him again for this inning, especially against a weaker part of the lineup. Switching pitchers quickly can hurt us if this goes into extras.

    Considering that we were down 1 going into the last inning I think we should be happy we're still tied, now we just need to worry about taking the lead rather than coming from behind. We're a better team, at home, and have 2 more at bats (8th and 9th) vs. their 9th.

    We have Breslow/Thornton/Britton with Morales rehabbing. But that said Franklin/Seager/Morales/Ibanez all hit worse against lefties than righties.

    That's to be determined. I liked Delmonico and the reviews on Hoes are pretty good. And it's always good to see the Orioles farm team get worse. I'm not too worried about facing Norris either. I will admit I really did want K-Rod.

    Now the Orioles gave up the 6th best prospect, a competitive draft pick (which I think is between the first and second round) and another piece. They gave up their 4th best prospect to get K-Rod. Too bad they didn't give up much for Feldman.

    I'd be even happier with Callaspo going to the A's if it makes the Yankees take Young.

    On the other hand if I ignored someone on here just for being a total dick, I'd probably only be able to talk to Yankees228, and even then I'd have to ignore myself in the process. Overall I think each poster here is above that, and certainly more than the occasional tendency to be rude.

    Well best of luck to you. I'm too weak to be able to ignore people without peaking at posts. Luckily for me there really isn't anyone here anymore that I'd need too. On other forums though that's a much bigger problem for me.
