  1. Having a wife = less sex.
  2. At least you're 6 2. My 220 lbs is on a 5 10 frame.
  3. Hey, I may hit my dogs once in a while but they aren't afraid of me. And I don't hit them when the Sox lose. I hit them when they bite me for hitting them.
  4. I just don't think I'm cool unless the rest of the online community knows I drink alcohol and act like a jerk when I'm drunk. You know I'm bout that thug life. Nah'mean?
  5. I feel like a nice evening can't be defined as such until after the Sox win.
  6. Realistically speaking I don't think anyone is worth the length/money that Teixeira got. Especially at the age in which those contracts are given out. Edit: With few exceptions.
  7. The fact that we won the last game and the 15 inning game before it gives them at least one free pass in my book.
  8. I actively watch Papelbon games hoping he screws up. Same with Beckett. Youkilis was easier since he was on the Yankees.
  9. Wait, become as good as Papelbon? As if Koji isn't already better? It's not like Koji is older than Papelbon and hasn't been pitching well in Japan before coming over or anything.... Not to mention I'm excited to watch Papelbon's numbers the next few years. I can't wait to see what he's like at Uehara's league, or even if he's in the league.
  10. Honestly YOTN if we restricted this website to solely what's "necessary" there'd be cobwebs.
  11. In all fairness Papelbon was/is and always will be an unclassy jackass. He's a locker room cancer that only cares about himself. In some ways he's not that different from Youkilis. I liked Papelbon/Youkilis when they were on our team, but when they weren't on our team their performance can't cover up for their personalities. At least Ramirez was a funny dick.
  12. RSFFL's point is that if people can bump up their own threads on the random (and rare) occurrence they are right, then they should have the same done to them when they are wrong. And thus far anyone that wanted us to sign (or trade for) Papelbon (which was a group that included myself at one point) was/is wrong.
  13. While there is truth to this, the negativity illustrates the point that there are things that can be done with the team to prevent future games of this nature....ie phantom DL'ing Dempster.
  14. Not to mention that they didn't acknowledge that they got a lot of assistance from the refs.
  15. What's even more awesome is that Papelbon blew an 8 shutout inning performance from Hamels. It was only his first loss on the season but his 6th blown save bringing his ERA to 2.59.
  16. What I did find interesting is that Wright's last appearance was in a game where they came from behind against the Mariners and Wright got the win after the Sox game back to win 8-7. What's even more interesting imo is in both games Wright bailed out a crappy start from Dempster.
  17. I'm just happy that we can take care of Dempster's suckitude and King Felix's pitching in the same game. Thank god we won last night. Can we please now put Dempster in the bullpen and let Workman keep the rotation spot?
  18. I feel like MLB Gameday counted it as such since it had Boston beating Seattle 24-22 in terms of LOB.
  19. We NEEDED that win considering we're up against King Felix tomorrow. f*** I have to register for classes in the morning. Damn it. Night y'all. We real fans stuck it out.
  20. 19 I believe, but Seattle has 22.
  21. I was thinking of one where the CF ran all the way to first base to get the runner out. That might be the one.
  22. Mediocre Seattle lineup aside, our bullpen is doing really well tonight. Granted if we lose we might as well have lost in the 9th as not to f*** our bullpen for the next few games, but it's still nice to see Baltimore and Tampa Bay lose (badly) and the Yankees are against Kershaw. That said we need to f***ing win this game and soon.
  23. God it's like this offense isn't even trying to win. The dude is 30+ pitches in and his ERA is still over 5.5. What the hell guys?
  24. I'd let Breslow start the next inning (if there is one) against Ibanez/Chavez/Saunders considering they all do worse against lefties. Hell even the 4th hitter (Ackley) is also worse against lefties.
  25. Even though Seager is worse against lefties, I'd consider intentionally walking him to get to Brendan Ryan.
