    I'm not a buzzkill, it was just very convenient timing. Besides, the buzz would eventually be lost when the Yankees get him for a fraction of the price while getting Atlanta to pay most of the salary.

    If Lowe is on the market, then I can see the Yankees getting him for a C-level prospect AND the Braves picking up most of the salary. The Yankees just have a way of pulling those kinds of trades.

    Two interesting trivia notes. This game puts Alfredo Aceves career record at 15-1. In addition, Kyle Farnsworth has a complete game shutout in his career.
