  2. Oki f***ing sucks.... we know this.. Tito leaving him out there to see if he can be trusted in a playoff game.. oh wait..we aren;t going to make the playoffs if we blow 4 run leads to TERRIBLE lineups like the Tigers.. I blame Lester as well for giving up a triple to a rookie lefty and a HUGE double to the worst hitter in the Majors ..Adam Everett..yes he pitched very well..but you cannot let that lead go from 4 to 2 and get beaten by a rookie and Adam Everett..that is inexcusable.
  3. Boy Martinez is a f***ing DP machine...luckily Hill airmailed the throw.

I expect him to get run before the 6th inning. Clay has much better stuff than Hughes and it will show this weekend. Hughes has pitched against these PITIFUL offenses...Using runs-scored as the metric... These are the MLB rankings for the teams Baby Hughzey has faced White Sox #24 Baltimore #27 OAK #17 LAA #23 **Not one team in the top-half in runs scored. Clay has pitched against.... TAM #1 (5 IP 0 ER, 7 K's) TOR #9 (8 IP, 1 ER) TEX #12 (6.2 IP, 3 ER, 10 K's) KC #19 LAA #23 The reason I brought this up is because a Yankee fan was trying to tell me how much better Hughes was than Buchholz and he was citing Hughes's superior ERA and WHIP. This is due in large part to the teams he has faced. The Yankees wanted to get his confidence up going into Fenway. Anybody who knows anything about baseball knows Clay Buchholz has better stuff than Hughes.. Not only does he throw harder, but his curve and change-up are so much better it is not even debateable. This myopic Yankee fan pretty much sums up most of the Yankee fanbase I have come in contact with....they are morons. They are similar to fans on here who cite Adrian Gonzalez's high .800 lifetime OPS as a reason he is not better than Ryan Howard--totally ignoring Park Factors. This weekend I fully expect Clay to out-pitch Hughes...though they are not opposing each other. The Yankees and their fans will have no excuses.... Clay will be facing a much tougher lineup..and will succeed. Hughes will be facing 5 or 6 good hitters and get rocked.

  6. If they can take 2 of 3 from Yankees I will say they have bounced back in impressive fashion. That being said..they still are not as good as the Yankees or D-Rays and will not be until Ellsbury and Cameron return AND they go out and get a real bat for Papi. If Dice-K can pitch the way he did the last 4 IP last night.. this team will be very hard to score on...even for the Yankees. I think Beckett will give a QS tonight and I think Hughes will get rocked. Hughes will have plenty of friends and family in the stands tonight and he is facing a VERY hot Sox lineup. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sox take 2 of 3 this weekend...in fact, I expect them to.
  7. Papi needs to be benched indefinitely... I have more confidence in Mikey Lowell even vs. RHP. I could have walked against Jepsen there! Why not make him throw a strike! He is pressing, his skills are that of a AAAA hitter.. he needs to be benched indefinitely or outright released... He is KILLING this team... you almost wanted to send the runner knowing Ortiz would do something to f*** it up.. There is not one hitter on the Red Sox I would want Ortiz to play over.. He is officialy TOAST. Thank you for being so terrible Rivera! That ball should have been caught.
  8. GOOD! He threw at him...oh yes he did! Looks like Napoli knew he did as well...as he escorted Youks to 1st. Awww lil Joey upset he is getting his brains bashed in??? Punk.
  9. at least there is some piss-n-vinegar in here!
  10. Our ace is making it look easy.
  11. Youks just saved Beltre ANOTHER error.. Man, he is really fighting it down there.
  12. almost time to get the PIP going for the Celtics! Wow..I didn't capitalize the A in almost... I hope ORS doesn't have a brain hemorrhage.. fuggin dolt.
  13. I could agree if Beltre were not heralded as such a HOOVER down there.. For someone who hits singles...I expect him to be Brooks Robinson down there the way Theo talked him up.. That play should be made by a guy who has been called the "BEST EVER" at coming in and making plays on the run from 3rd base.
  14. f*** me running... great....Clay just got drilled.. that is all we need to have our ace go down.
  15. Let's go Clay... need a nice start to my $$ Fantasy League! I hope the Sox try and get "The Prince" to be our DH... he can be had IMO and we could send an intriguing package back to the Brew Crew..Kelly, Bard, and Anderson and we get our BIG bopper!))
  16. Brewers struggling..their pitching is absolutely terrible other than Gallardo and Wolf(who is a bit long in the tooth).. Fielder has been rumored to be the guy they would trade to improve the team..probably because he is fat and can barely field his position... He would play DH for the Sox. I would think a package of Kelley, Bard, and Lars Anderson would be of great interest to the Brew Crew. Fielder would give our lineup instant credibility. He is the type of impact hitter who makes everyone better and he can hit the ball a long way to the opposite field. He is the guy we have the best shot at IMO. As for Ortiz...cut him and have an Ortiz Day next year... I am sure he would welcome the chance to start for another team if there is one that would give him a chance.
  17. after watching the Celts meltdown the other night... I think you are correct.. I know the Sox are finished.
  18. Really? Well how so? I mean..you do realize Theo would go from $150 million to about $58 million?? His Lugo blunder would have been roughly 20% of the Royals payroll... so your point clearly holds no water whatsoever. He has been able to screw up constantly and still be successful because of the insane resources he has at his disposal.
