    @ArcainiLuke David Vassegh said the Phillies are in “active talks” with the Red Sox regarding Kenley Jansen, via his podcast. Kenley Jansen makes $16M per year. The Phillies should consider trading Taijuan Walker to the Red Sox and then go sign one of Blake Snell/Jordan Montgomery.

    YRod did pitch in the Central League when Yamamoto pitching in the Pacific. Those are analogous to AL and NL. It's the Eastern League and Western League that are the lower division in Japan, I believe.

    Combined, Fisk and Lynn earned 48.4 fWAR after leaving Boston. Mookie has already earned 21.7. He has 9 years to amass 26.7 fWAR to match their total post-Boston. That would get him to 31st all time for fWAR, just ahead of George Brett. This season, he should easily pass HOFers Jackie Robinson, Andre Dawson, Tony Perez, Dave Winfield and more.
