    If they get a better offer for Abreu, I'm trading him instead. Cora is just going to have to figure out the OF rotation.

    As long as it's not Tolle, I don't care. He's the only near untouchable prospect to me. I'm not a huge Ryan guy, so I wouldn't include Tolle in that trade. In a trade for a guy like Skubal? I'm emptying the farm. Ryan is 19th in fWAR from 23-25 and age 29. Valdez and Cease are both better and are FA this offseason. The other real swing and a miss was not signing Sonny Gray last season.

    Yes, I didn't want Buehler signed. I believe notin was a big Buehler guy.

    The Dodgers won 98 games in '55. I don't think the Sox are going to replicate that.

    Dobbins was drafted in 2021. Is he considered an acquisition? I'd consider him a success of the pitching program under Justin Willard.

    AZ was also 4th in DRS and 2nd in OAA as a team in '23. To me, this team just isn't built for it. You can try to make an argument than every team has a chance, but I don't really believe.

    I'd rather have Pivetta than Buehler. IDK. I was never sold on the idea that Buehler was back because of a 10 IP sample from the playoffs.

    Probably not Eaton if he's demoted now. If they were going to DFA him, they'd just do it the day they're activating Masa. Cotillo's report has Masa back TODAY not Monday though? I don't know what the move is and haven't seen speculation.

    I think Fenway would be horrible for Naylor's pull profile. I'm all in on Hoskins, but he's injured. Maybe for '26?

    He was a 101 OPS+ from 2015-2020 in his prime years. I don't care about his first struggles when he was called up or what happened after he left BOS the first time. We didn't "get rid of him" because we knew he'd flame out like he did. It was just a good call on their part. It was just dumb to bring him back in '22.

    His career high is 146 IP. He's already thrown 120 on 7/9. Are you confident he'll be able to go 3 of 7 in October? I'm not.

    That's the state of the Rockies org, I believe. If you're a fan, I think you just go to games to enjoy the ballpark and have a few beers without worrying about the actual game.

    I'm not complaining! I'm just not expecting this to continue. These two teams are pretty freakin' awful.

    I guess Will Clark has just taken IF with the team for years and years and it's very common for him to do so. It was nothing special planned or anything. Will was already going to be there and just thought Devers was going to take 1b with him. If I was PR for the Giants, I'd be nervous as Hell having that guy around for sure. Great story teller though.
