    Payroll has a lesser priority than secured claimants (if there are any). They may not be repaid in full and I believe their claims are limited to about $12k per person. IRS and general business claims have a lesser claim than payroll.

    Employees were not and have not yet been paid the 5/15 payroll. They continued to work through yesterday. As claimaints against 38 Studios that do have the right to obtain a limited amount for past due wages. However, it just seems shady that Schill put $4M in only to have it paid out of the state funds later on. You're right, I don't truly know his finances and my thoughts are purely conjecture. It's sad for all involved. I know Schill was really relying on the next game "Copernicus" to make the company successfull. Too bad they couldn't make it that far.

    He pitched 40 innings less than Aceves. Not sure 73 innings is really overused. Tito was no Dusty Baker. If Tito didn't use Bard, "well that's another loss to blame on Tito." (The running theme in the offseason was Tito cost the Sox 15ish games.) If Tito used Bard, "well he's tired because Tito has used him too much."

    If he really gave a s*** he would have kept his investment in 38 Studios rather than repaying himself $4M out of the state loan. He has enough wealth to keep the thing going until Copernicus came out in a year if that's what he really wanted to do. At the end of the day, he just said screw it and s*** canned everyone. The video game industry takes a lot of capital and is super competitive. I think he really underestimated the challenge. In hindsight, he should have started out much smaller and not taken a huge loan that had enormous staff hiring quotas.

    If he can only throw 92-93 as a starter, I'm not sure if he has enough offspeed stuff to get by longterm. It doesn't matter right now since they don't have a better SP option. I hope he gets better, but we'll have to see.
