  1. Oh s***, Barksdale isbehind the plate now...
  2. I just don't see him as MLB ready. Though playing poorly in the majors wont hurt his value (whatever is left) much.
  3. Bill Hall, not a LF. Damon would've had an assist there.
  4. Bard is doing Paps a solid by getting the O's within 3.
  5. Beltre!!!!!!!!
  6. Shitaro bomb!
  7. Not worth 14 mil, but a good pickup nonetheless.
  8. Redsoxrules will be making it. We got the birds right where we want them.
  9. Lester looked good this inning. Hoping the bats can wake up a bit.
  10. So what did I miss so far? Hahaha... I missed the O's barage while grilling.
  11. Self righteous a little? Jeez... Just because someone has a different viewpoint doesn't mean they are skewing stats or have an agenda.
  12. He can't play full-time because he's always injured and/or needs a "rest." How can we project him as a full-time starter if he's not able to physically be on the field without taking a few days off?
  13. Cut him a little slack, he had mono!
  14. That's not a Pedroia-like upside. I'm also not sold on his defense. Yes, he should start the rest of the way though.
  15. 1. Well duh, but that doesn't mean people don't have a reason to complain. 2. Is he "average" or a "backup?" You state both. Is he a backup forced into a starting role? Whatever the issue, he has played well at times and poorly at other times. I'll give him credit for the good days if you give him grief for the bad days. 3. Who cares about errors when he has a weak arm and no range? Exactly! He's not a SS. He's a 2B, so why is he our everyday SS? Also since when has someone with a weak arm, no range, and lots of errors been known to "make most of the plays?" Not often. 4. Great. Especially since Scutaro had spent his whole career in one place and isn't use to switching towns... Then we should all be giving Lackey a big pat on the back too 5. But shouldn't there have been a better prelude? And if Lowrie is the conclusion, I'm not sure many people will be all that thrilled once he is playing everyday. I'm not a huge Scutaro fan, but I don't see Lowrie being an upgrade.
