    A's - very blah, but they used to let you bring coolers to the game and bleacher seats were $1 on Wednesday Giants - very, very overrated Expos - I actually got to run on the field here, the turf was squishier than expected (I had only been on the turf of the old Foxboro Stadium prior to it) Dodgers - absolutely gorgeous

    Living in LA, I've spent the past few years following "los Doyers." I'm not a fan. I don't have an LA hat. I just enjoy listening to Vin Scully, the best broadcaster in the business.

    I really hope that Ortiz is turning the corner. My wife spent the whole weekend defending him against her grandfather and was psyched to see him play well on Monday. If Ortiz is done though, the only right move would be to bring Lars up. Carter, Van Every, and Bailey are nothing more than 25th man roster guys with little to no upside. There's no reason to be giving them extra at bats over Ortiz.
