    How can you consider the FO inept if they fixed the biggest problem you had with this team? Are they simply inept because they don't do exactly what you want or is this some old bias you'll never get over?

    SBF, not all of my posts are about you. "Some kind of title." WTH does that mean? WS title? AL East title? From your previous posts, only a WS title counts as a good season. You rail against FO inaction, but now say they can make a run. You hate Scott Boras, but are a free market Republican. Your posts are so all over the place and I really have no idea where you stand. You pop in after the season is over and go on and on about "FrancoMa" who cost the Sox tons of games. The FO hires your boy BV, but you still complain about the FO not doing anything. Well, they fixed the biggest problem you had with the team. You've followed this team for 1/7th of your life, but feel entitled to a WS title for some reason. Your posts are just all over the place and your narrative is impossible to follow. I also never said PG was off his rocker. We both feel similarly about the team based on what he posted this afternoon.

    RSFFL, Shoppach is a better defensive catcher than Tek and he has a cannon arm. He's an upgrade as a backup. Salty should hit a bit better and have better defensive stats as he won't be catching Wake. He's a hard worker and could really surprise us. CC should have a coneback year. He won't post career best numbers, but should be solid. Ells will have a drop in power numbers. Becks is due for an injury plagued season. AGon will put up MVP numbers.

    I feel like CC will improve and Papi will regress, making it a wash.

    I hope he pitches like a #1, still think the Sox need a top 10 MLB pitcher. Not sure if Lester is there. We'll see.

    He's not even close to Clemens or Pedro production. The Sox deserve a real #1. I like Lester, just think he doesn't pitch with any cajones.

    2011's SP was a dumpster fire. Even moderate improvement would keep them on the same level as last year's team (when factoring in loss of Paps). This team (once all the remaining pieces are in place) can definitely contend for the playoffs. The SP isn't good enough for a WS as presently constructed, but should still be fun to watch. What the Sox need is a #1 starter, not a #4. They have 3 #2's right now, but need a dominant ace, someone who can stop the bleeding during a poor stretch. Not sure if Cherbear would make that move this offseason though.

    Beane isn't trading Bailey to an AL team. Not a chance.

    I'd consider CC in RF. His speed is wasted in LF at Fenwauy. Hewouldn't be Dewey out there, but he seems too timid near the LF wall.

    A700, it's not the 60's anymore. Players make too much money and won't want to put up with that. We can all sit here and say "it doesn't matter that the coach whines to the media," I just don't think it will push today's player in the right way.

    Calls Carl Crawford. Doesn't hear back. Whines to the media. This is going to be a disaster. This stuff should be left in house.

    Every third base coach sucks. I don't know why people get so pissy about it. He's always the most despised coach on the team. It's tough because armchair coaches always know better since they see an outcome 1 second later. Thrown out at home? Coach was wrong. Held at 3rd? Coach isn't aggressive enough. No one blames a 1b coach when a runner gets picked off or doubled up.

    To get rid of the red jerseys and make the '75 home unis the alternate. I would trade that for a playoff run. Seriously.

    You clearly don't watch enough Phantom Gourmet. For shame! In all honesty, it's notbad, just touristy. There are better places, but I don't see the harm in sending an 18 year old from Miami there. Could be a better spot to check out ladies as well.
