No, there are a few of us left. I'd rather let the prospects compete for MLB jobs than keep them behind bloated contracts for 3 years. I think SS and at least one corner OF spot should be open competition during ST. I'm fine with them going the FA route for 1b and the other corner OF spot if it's for short term deals. With DRoss signed, Lavs needs to play a ton and Salty needs to go.

I don't care if they're a last place team as long as they are finally developing real talent and building their organization. Like I've said before, build a team that can compete for a WS in 2015. Short term fixes are part of the reason they are in this mess.

Are we looking to replicate 2012's 69 win team or really turn it around? Simply "replacing" last year's stats is a no win proposition. Well, it'd be a 69 win proposition I guess.

I'd rather have Salty at 1b than Gomez. His CERA sucks. If he can improve his hitting by moving to 1b, he may be servicable somewhere. Long term, he's not an answer for the Sox, obviously.

Ross hits RHP better than LHP. Lavarnway needs to learn how to pitch MLB pitchinf. At this point, stashing him in AAA would be a waste.
