    The only problem is the 4 guys to play 8 positions thing. The offense is on paper going mash and mash. The players that won't hit as well (Pedroia, CV, Vic) play excellent defense. Complain about the pitching all you want, but I have a hard time understanding what anyone's issue with the lineup will be.

    I don't think people thought "he's sulking at 3rd." I think people thought he just spend too much energy adapting to a new position.

    The weather here can change on a dime. Just because we got a blizzard today, doesn't imply that April will be any colder thanit usually is. My guess is that it'll be cool and damp like always. May will be nicer and June will be a mixed bag. Hitting always takes a bit longer to heat up for us. Might be nice to help get the pitchers off on a good track though?

    If the Sox move to a new stadium, Fenway is gonzo. Too much $$$ to upkeep.

    I like that he's already preplanning his bitching sessions and that only certain posters can bitch if things go south. We get it Fred, you're going to complain a lot. I just think it's weird that he projects them to win the division on one hand, but is holding the gonna bitch like Hell card in the other.

    There's a chance. They'll be competitive, but will miss Wild Card by 2-3 games imo. Saying there is no chance is pushing it a little.

    Gretzky also played in an era where scoring was out of control. His numbers are grossly inflated.

    6 in the AL or 6 overall? I think they don't make the playoffs so they aren't top 10.
