Farrell has already stated that there will be long toss sessions, side sessions, simulated games and rehab starts. That's at least 4 weeks there. Farrell's plan has him coming back around Sept 1st. This isn't some arbitrary Buch decision. He's been out 6 weeks. The rule of thumb is you rehab 1week for each week out.
The Yankees should really look into having a BoSox 2012 second half. Trade almost everyone for prospects and tank for better draft picks. With all the injuries, I'm sure Yankees fans wouldn't mind taking a mulligan.
Depends on what is being offered. The only pitchers I wouldn't move on from are Lackey (cheap money), Doubs and the young guys (Webster, RDLR, etc).
I'd package Taz in a deal if it helped to bring back a quality starter.
I don't see the point in ever trading a starting pitcher that is destroying his competition. I'd rather have 2.5 more years of a very good Lackey than a hit or miss prospect.
