    Of all the Yankees, he seems like a good dude. When he tipped his hat to the Fenway crowd when being introduced, I knew I couldn't hate him as much as I wanted to. Glad he's retiring though!

    Veteran backup middle infielders grow on trees. I don't know why you would fret about picking one up on the cheap.

    The only season aside from 04 and 07 that I enjoyed more was 99. They're winning, are fun to watch and have completely erased the debacle of 2012 for me.

    In all honesty, my original post wasn't referencing Fred or A700. Fred went on record and said this was a playoff team in the offseason. He was 100% correct. He's also been much easier to read this year and seems to have a great attitude. He gets a lot of respect from me for that. I wasn't referencing A700 because I have him on ignore and really have no idea what he posts unless someone quotes him. Again, he doesn't matter to me. I don't talk about him or make reference to him in anyway shape or form. If he gets upset over something I say, that's on him. That's the last I'll mention it because I don't care.

    Once my kid is old enough, I plan on having a few summer trips to stadiums I haven't been to. Really want to go to Seattle, Pittsburgh, Wrigley, San Diego and Baltimore. If Tigers Stadium was still used, it'd be first on my list. I've only been to Fenway, SF, Dodgers Stadium, Oakland and Olympic Stadium (Expos!).

    Just hope that losing in the ALCS isn't cause for someone saying "f this team, they suck." This team has destroyed expectations and are playing with house money. Enjoy the ride wherever it goes.
