  1. His OPS in 2013 is better than Christian could do. And Ross was much better pre 2013.
  2. David Ross says hi.
  3. No, but I'm sure Freud would have something to say about it.
  4. He knows. Just too busy slapping his bass.
  5. Thanks Ben!
  6. Killing Swihart's trade value.
  7. *insert the Ron Paul "it's happening" gif*
  8. Marrero has been brutal with the bat so far. Otherwise, I'd assume he'd be the guy coming up.
  9. http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/172175508/blake-swihart-or-christian-vazquez-sox-catcher I thought this was a pretty fair article on the Swihart/Vazquez subject.
  10. Our discussion is now moot.
  11. Swihart was sent down, Marco Hernandez was brought up.
  12. He'll need to get some tips from Aaron Hernandez.
  13. I'd rather have Swihart play than Leon. If Vazquez doesn't start right away and there is no other corresponding move, I just don't understand the move.
  14. I'm sad that Fred's not here. He'd have way better nicknames then we would come up with.
  15. I've seen it suggested by various writers that Blake will still be the main starter and Vazquez will be the main backup. There is a belief that Hanigan would be traded. If that's the case, why wouldn't they just trade Hanigan and then call up Vazquez? Why have 3 catchers at all? Do they have alternate plans for Swihart?
  16. Jonathan "has not been scored on in the postseason for 6 years running" Papelbon
  17. http://www.overthemonster.com/2016/4/15/11438724/pablo-sandoval-surgery-injury-shoulder-mri-red-sox "We still haven't heard the results of Pablo Sandoval's Thursday MRI, but there might be more to this injury than originally thought. Tony Massarotti is reporting that Sandoval could seek a second opinion on his shoulder, with word being that he might be headed for surgery."
  18. Paplebon only gave up 3ER in his whole postseason career. He's clearly better.
  19. Let's be a little fair, from 2005 - 2008, he didn't give up any runs in the postseason. He blew up in the ALDS in 2009, but since then he hasn't allowed a single run in postseason play!
  20. Welcome to the Rogue Rouge State!
  21. C'mon, they clearly needed to sign two 3b's at the time.
  22. Nope. When Ben was here he was just following ownership's direction. Now that DUMBrowski is here, it's all on him.
