    MNF matchups have been dog s*** since they put the playoff teams on Sunday night. Monday and Thursday night games are usually terrible.

    He sucks batting right handed. Right now, he's a platoon guy at best. I hope that he can really spend a lot of time at 3b over the offseason. He's slated to play in the AZ fall league at 3b I think.

    I'd rather Buchholz than Owens or Johnson. It's not really close. I think Owens doesn't have much value anymore.

    Yup. Then the Sox shouldn't pick up his option, should never play Hanley at 1b, should play Pablo no matter what, etc. And boy, doesn't that Price suck! I mean innings pitched is stupid. Quality Starts is a stupid stat too. Good he's so horrible. Whine whine whine. I for one am glad that we have a neckbeard white knight poster on TS! Thank you for existing!

    That's why I'd put Buchholz back in the bullpen during the playoffs and have ERod start.

    I agree 100%. I've been on the Hanley train all year. Panda could have been like this too, but he doesn't seem to give a s*** anymore.

    Last year's FA class is not this year's FA class. Buchholz will provide better value at $13M than some of the garbage this year.

    You didn't say who was the #2, I inferred it when you posted the ERAs. Wright is not the #2 guy right now. He's been toast for a while now.

    All we can do is watch the standings now. If they can go 4-2 against the Jays, they should clinch the division easily.

    We already have a premium closer. It would be silly to add Jensen or Chapman. Ziegler has already stated that he's going back to AZ due to family reasons. The point I'm trying to make is that it's really hard to split $13M into 2 pitchers that are better or more versatile than Buchholz. You could get one guy that's better and add a Matt Albers, but people would still complain "why'd we bring in Fat Albers again?"
