  1. Makes as much sense as your theory.
  2. Nationals stadium is accessible by Metro. The only way to feasibly get to Dodgers Stadium is by car. People typically work in relative walking distance to the Nationals Stadium. In LA, it's very spread out and the majority of people don't work anywhere near the stadium.
  3. When I lived in LA, it was nearly impossible to get there before the first pitch if you left right after work. You can rag on them leaving by the 7th (which a lot of fans do everywhere), but showing up late is a traffic issue.
  4. They are replacing Ortiz with Bryce Brentz? I doubt they'd replace him with anything less than a 2 WAR guy, so this would still be a 90 win team.
  5. They had TWO years where they had playoff runs. This doesn't make them some sort of dynasty where you're going to pluck players to get "playoff experience" which most likely doesn't matter anyway.
  6. Also add a #8: Farrell's relationship with Jessica Moran. This caused a lot of stress on the clubhouse and it finally caught up with them in the postseason.
  7. Also "Price is not a number 1" even though he'll be top 3 in CY votes this year... Ok?
  8. Their starters are Price, Porcello, Pomeranz, Wright and Rodriguez. They may move one of those guys out of the rotation, but not 2. There's zero chance they pick up 2 SP's. In the past, when they've actually needed 2 arms, they've only brought in one. They either go with what they got or they use ERod in a trade to bring someone back.
  9. They keep EE and dump Bats. The Rays trade Archer. The O's grab some high power guys on short term contracts. The Yanks make a few panic moves when Gary Sanchez declares that he wants to retire because NYC smells like garbage.
  10. Los Doyers
  11. It IS an advantage. There is nothing from the ALDS that shows it would have helped the Sox win the series though.
  12. Would you go with a 6 man rotation too?
  13. I'd be all about a minigolf championship on tv.
  14. No, because it's a 26 man roster.
  15. I've seen that $210 projected elsewhere too.
  16. Is it "bigly" or "big league?"
  17. At least you didn't say "pray the Clay away."
  18. Maybe the Broncos were just a better team?
  19. Their road record in the playoffs was 1-0. Even if the Sox had HFA and took two out three, they still lost two games in Cleveland and one game at home.
  20. But they did beat the Chiefs prior to losing to the Broncos. Maybe the Broncos were just a better team?
  21. That was a PERSONAL ATTACK!
  22. You're just so nice sometimes.
  23. They already stated they definitely will?
  24. He had some nice AB's in game 3. Probably should have been higher in the order, but whatever...
  25. Yeah, 4.7 WAR (Fangraphs) means nothing really. If being the 6th best SS in the league is the only going for him, I don't know what to say about that.
