    Or those holding tv contracts, vendors, etc. They will never reduce the amount of games. Also, I don't think it's the 162 game schedule that is causing the drop in popularity. I think pacing and cost of tickets play a larger role.

    Personally, he has thrown a ton of innings and I believe leads the league in QS. It's not Pedro in 99-00, but it matters. Yes, I wish he was better, but I don't think his results are doom and gloom. I am a little concerned about his post season track record though, which I've stated since the beginning of the season.

    So Pedro/Lester/Roger never ended a winning streak in their times with this team? That's kind of a laughable assertion on your part. Yes, aces can never ever lose. The second they lose, they are no longer aces. Roger wasn't the greatest in the postseason. Was he not an ace? Many consider him one of the two greatest pitchers of all time.
