Why would he get less RBI? His lineup is more stacked in Boston than it was in San Fran. His LD% and Hard% are both up and he's hitting to all fields equally. It looks like the low batting average may be due to luck. You're selling him short without looking into the numbers.

He is a Nick Cafardo, but not a true Nick Cafardo.

He's the same age and injury history (and career WAR!!!) as Justin Masterson. Masterson is trying to work his way back in AAA. I don't see Buchholz as being the type of guy to sign an MiLB deal. He's made enough $ where he probably doesn't see the point in playing the next few years for less than he makes in one month now.

I said at the time that Sale should have pitched the 9th, but it's not like Kimbrel was a horrible option. Sale was only at 102 pitches or so. I thought you'd give him a few more batters and pull him if a runner gets on. Sale was lights out yesterday.
