  1. You love calling me out, but at least find the post and quote me exactly. That's NOT what I said.
  2. SFG ERA pre-trade: 3.30 SFG ERA post-trade: 4.29 How could Rafael Devers do this?
  3. He believe he can accept an assignment to AAA or request his release. I was under the assumption that MLB still had the waiver trade system, because I'm old. As of 2019, players may still be placed and claimed on outright waivers after the Trade Deadline, but trades aren't permitted after that date. With regards to newly acquired players, the Aug. 31 postseason roster deadline remains in effect.
  4. I don't remember, but he posted on his IG and he's currently at JetBlue throwing 100. 🔥
  5. Oh, not enough time before I leave for me to research that one! ⏲️🪪
  6. Better than Meidroth too. 😎
  7. I wouldn't claim him. I'd let him pass through waivers and work out a deal with WSH. Not paying the full price tag.
  8. 941 OPS right now for WOO. 1135 OPS in August. I don't believe his glove is ready at 1b yet from what people have said.
  9. I agree. Keith Law has Arias ranked as #8 in all of MiLB. Some scouts just REALLY love him.
  10. He was an 850 OPS guy over a full season. If he can get over this injury and back to 100%, he could get back there at some point. I don't think many of us saw '23 as a highwater mark.
  11. Conrad Cason had TJS Current prospects out due to TJS: Luis Perales Alvaro Mejias Matt Donlan Cade Feeney Matt Duffy Cole Tolbert Yordanny Monegro Nicholas Judice Trennor O'Donnell Zach Fogell Conrad Cason 🦾
  12. Some evaluators really, really like him. Some are unimpressed. He's had an up and down year so far. He's young and holding his own in High A. He has a clear path to be some sort of MLBer.
  13. Yeah, there's a reason he's being DFA'd. He's been one of the worst players in the league since June 1.
  14. Game 1: 3.2 IP, 4 K, 1 BB, 3 ER Game 2: 6 IP, 8 K, 1 BB, 0 ER Projected Game 3: 8.1 IP, 12 K, 1 BB, -3 ER
  15. I think Sanchez was injury insurance due to Narvaez's knee situation. Once they are comfortable with that, Sanchez is gone.
  16. Sox will typically be 6th - 12th place just because of the size of Fenway. If they are 6 or 7, it's because attendance at larger ballparks is down. Even when they were really packing it in, they were still 8th or 9th almost every season. Attendance has been a little slow to rebound since COVID and that's due to high prices combined with mediocre baseball and lack of recognizable players to the general public. Maybe it also just won't get back to the highs of 04-19 again?
  17. That's not a thing anymore ever since we took Mojo about back and gave it the Old Yeller treatment.
  18. Gio then Bello then Crochet. Sox have a big rotation advantage this series.
  19. If they can acquire him for minimum $, it's just to provide a higher ceiling than Toro. Hope for a rebound knowing there is less likely one from Toro.
  20. I think it's just a very temporary solution not for the remainder of the season.
  21. Red Sox lucked out by missing Perez and Cabrera. Junk is ok, but going against Crochet who should be a lock after his previous start.
  22. That's what I was getting at with the last few lines and comparing him to Buehler. Sox should hit him around tonight. I think people see his name and remember the pitcher than he used to be, not what he is.
