    His defense is solid, but could use more refining. He won defensive player of the year last year in part to all the preparation he puts in. The defense is not the reason he's still in AAA. I think the FO has a mental block against bringing him up due to his age, but not his maturity level. Age ain't nuthin' but a number.

    Not surprising since the fan favorite retired. Last year, Sox were up 33% from 2015 (probably due to Oritz retirement and Sox staying in contention).
